Currently, they have even infiltrated into the public and civil services and to the extent that ordinary promotions are "hijacked" by them.

When people in the Western Region who are Akans want to own share in KOSMOS NPP went to Washington to tell President Obama that the shares should not be sold to them, the person they send was Hammound.

  The way we discarded Alhaji Alieu Mahama who did served successfully for 8 years as vice president for Akuffo Addo in 2008 buttressed our tag as an Akan party, and making non - Akan floating voters to vote for us and therefore losing elections which we should have won by over 60%.
  
  However, the only person I blame for these unnecessary utterances is Nana Akuffo-Addo. He is politically naive or immature not what some sycophants want us to believe as an astute politician.
  
  The reason I am saying this is that, by Nana's action such as All die be die, and his inaction on speaking against some comments by our leaders such as Kennedy Agyapong has cost us two elections.
  
  If Nana want to win 2016 should come out from his hiding place and speak against this incitement of Akan against non Akan by Osafo - Marfo.
  
  He should not hide like the way he has been doing while non entities insult people who has accomplished a lot in thier private life.
  He was quiet when people were insulting Afari-Djan, someone who supervised both our election wins in 2000 and 2004.
  
  Again quiet when Sir John was foolishly insulting Justice Atuguba while our case was still pending at the Supreme Court. Again quiet while people are insulting Otumfoo.
  
  Not only that, our own leaders such as Mr Kufour, Alan, Dr Arthur Kennedy, Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe, Kwame Pianim and others are be in insulted everyday bit he is quiet about that.
  
  I know from reliable source within the party executive that, they would have lie to take action against Mr Osafo Marfo but decided for Ghanaians to make thier own decision for fear of been tag Alan supporter.
  
  I am calling also on Kwabena Agyapong and the Chairman to immediately refer Mr Marfo to the disciplinary committee for him to be suspended from the party.
  
  Nana please come out and condemn this because we are tired of your failure and do not want another court case.

  People constitute the fabric of a nation and the extent to which they stick together as the NDC strives to achieve or tear apart as your NPP aims to accomplish is what determines a country at peace with itself or one in danger of implosion respectively. I guess Issah Imoro is one of those naive politicians or political analysts who cannot delve deeper than the surface or would rather ignore the perils of tribalism for the convenience of power. And if you think the NPP has done well by appointing Northerners as running mates and or Vice Presidents, the NDC has actually produced an Ewe President, a Fante President and a Northern President. Contrast that with the history of your NPP and the many tribal goofs associated with it and you might want to re-write your article with better insights. A word to the wise is always enough!

  The UP may well have once partnered with the Northern People's Party, the Togoland Congress and Anlo Youth Association but your NPP from its inception and ever since has proven to be a party of bigots, Akan supremacists(particularly those from Ashanti and Akyem who feel entitled to power) and intolerant self-defeating tribalists.
  Since 1992 the NPP has done its darnedest to portray itself as a party for Akans, that must be led by only Akans. We all saw the shoddy treatment you gave Aliu when after 8 long years of faithful service to Kufuor, he was only discriminated against during the flagbearer contest. We have since observed your leader's penchant for going behind closed doors to preach divisive and tribalistic messages to your footsoldiers and leaders. We haven't forgotten the circumstances under which a whole Presidential cnadidate in a cowardly fashion, went behind closed doors to exhort Akans to defend their party against their enemies. Perhaps you want to tell us what Nana Akufo Addo meant in his disgraceful 'yen akanfuo' comment to his party leaders when he thought no one was listening. Those comments were quickly followed by Ken Agyepong's crazy rant on air exhorting Ashantis to kill Ewes and Gas, comments that Akufo Addo the leader of your party refused to repudiate. Now we have the disgraced Osafo Marfo, again behind closed doors, exhorting Akans to seize their natural right to rule Ghana because they hail from regions that contribute 90% the resources of Ghana. He continued state that those who contribute nothing are rather ruling over those whose resources are exploited to run the nation. In spite of his cowardly attempt to deny his own voice on tape, there is little doubt that Osafo Marfo made those comments when he thought nonakans weren't listening. The ugly specter of shameless politicians exploiting tribe to cause political mayhem in Ghana must not be underrated. And it is in this light that Akufo Addo, if he is a real leader, should come out and reject the divisive sentiments preached by OsafoMarfo. But as usual Akufo Addo is silent; and his silence in the light of his own previous yen akanfuo comments has led many to believe that Akufo Addo is a dangerous ethnocentric and troublesome leader of a national party who is not beyond watching Ghana go up in flames. His silence lends support to the suspicion that these statements receive his full blessing.
  Ghana deserves better than Akufo Addo. And as long as Akufo leads the NPP, it'll continue to lose Presidential elections in the country.

  The silence of nana on the osafo marfo issue is hurting the npp. The same silence on the Kennedy agyepong issue contributed to the defeat in 2012. Osafo marfo's comments are not irrelevant n will not be so long as we have ndc communicators with specialties in propaganda.
