We have lived peacefully throughout the years without any problems until the evil NDC came in to sow division everywhere. I have attended a Presbyterian school and a Catholic school. We go to mass without taking holy communion. Only students who are catholic do; and nobody forces you to do that. But the school needs its students assembled for other things as well, and we have to be there. Nobody forces you to convert. So, what is the trouble today? Mission schools are outstanding because of strong rules and regulations. Don't let politics spoil it. NDC Politicians are looking for anything that will keep them in power.

As a Catholic institution, even though there were strict rules and regulations, no body forced us accept one's faith and that in itself modeled as to become real humans..... Everything that units us as a peaceful nation is under attack by the USELESS NDC PARTY. Before they divide Ghana and leave us in shreds VOTE THE USELESS NDC PARTY OUT IN 2016.
We have lived peacefully without any TRIBAL OR RELIGIOUS POLITICS before the USELESS NDC PARTY WAS FORMED and their manifesto signed with blood. We don't need any division in Ghana. WE ARE INTER-MARRIED, AND WE ARE ONE PEOPLE. NDC IS DANGEROUS, VOTE THEM OUT IN 2016.

Muslim students should expect Christian/Catholic ethos in schools they decide to attend. The morning worship/devotion is characteristic of their educational goal. If you don't like it, you know where the gate is.

If persuasion fails,very soon we will physically decend on them and they will see where power lies. If u come to ghana do what the ghanaian constitutions requires u to do not christians or moslems laws. So, from the other side, this response ought to fit our "Mission Schools Brouhaha" agenda!

The elementary fact of history tells us the Bible was first to get to the colony, before the colony became the Gold Coast; before the warriors arrived with government that did not have an iota of interest in the education of the people in the colonies.

So the people with the Bible established schools to civilize the natives, to keep themselves busy, and to feel good about themselves for civilizing.

The logical extension of our "Religious Hypocrisy Should Be Rejected", is the establishment of public schools by the national government for all the people, where prayers and devotions to religion is not on the public school menu; schools funded by tax payers for all people - religious and non-religious.

Then the mission schools and the Islamic schools, and all the other "religious" schools would have their facilities for their programs to themselves; and the taxpayers will not have to fund a pesewa of their programs, not even the salaries of their teachers. Then they can pray all they want. That certainly is the sure-fire way to cure the "co-opted by the government" problem(s).

That, we submit, is the secular "vision ordained", at least logically, by the Constitution of Ghana. In that scheme, religion is a private matter for the parents and their children, and the Churches, Mosques, Synagogues, etc., whatever they choose, including none.
