When NDC was going for the $3bn Chinese loan, Dr Anthony Osei Akoto advised the mills admin to avoid it and rather use the proceeds for the oil to fund it since the Atuabo was not going to by an overnight transaction. The NDC refused to heed to his advice. Today we all know what has become of the project . NDC is asking NPP for alternatives as if Dr Bawumia has never offered a million advices to them. They simply are arogant .

Even right now the Persident, Mr. Amin Adam, of ACEP, and Mr. Peter Amewu, and the author
of this article, Mr. Ametor Qyarmyne, have failed to analyze this energy crisis properly.
The have not examined off shore wind farms, OTEC ( Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion), waste-energy systems, bio-fuels, and other renewable sources of energy; In addition, neither the President nor his power minister, or Mr. Amin Adam or Mr. Qyarmyne have advised the general public to assist in finding an end to the energy crisis by adhering to the energy conservation measures like switching off their lights.
