Yes, earlier this month, the Presbyterian Church(USA) changed its definition of marriage to include Same-Sex couples. This decision prompted the Presbyterian Church of Ghana(PCG) to disassociate itself from the Presbyterian Church in the USA.

The fact that some of the Christian churches, mostly in in Europe and the Americas, including the Presbyterian Church(USA) have changed their church laws on the definition of marriage to openly include and embrace homosexual marriages, do not necessarily mean the Presbyterian Church in Ghana should compromise its core Christian beliefs, principles, practices and sacramental rites so as to be seen as modernising and progressive.

And, why should the Ghana Presbyterian Church's stance and opposition to gay marriage be seen as homophobic? This is outrageous nonsense! The PCG is within its right not to recognise Same-sex marriages. You don't have to force anyone into marriage, so why should the PCG be compelled to accept gay marriage rites? So, if the PCG has no plans to change its definition of the institution of marriage, so be it!

It is a transcendent, otherworldly experience. Sex works a lot like fire. Though it can warm and purify, if not properly contained and handled with care it can burn, scar, infect, and destroy. “There is a way that seems right to a man,” the proverb puts it, “but in the end it leads to death” (Prov. 14:12). Dont change to accomodate the world, let the world change to follow Gods law....

Jesus said to the adulterous woman, go and sin no more. He never said to her to go and keep sinning. What Africa needs for true progress is not homosexuality but sciece and technology. May God open your eyes and mind to get closer to him.

Ghanaians would have hailed you as hero if you had come forward with a call on African intellectuals to begin thinking scientifically to move our dear continent forward. Instead, you chose to do the white man's dirty job for him in an apparently disgraceful and disgusting manner. What is surprising is Leo's inability to hide his desperation. Are you a homosexual, Leo? Must every African accept homosexuality because you chose to become one yourself? Who sent the Bible to Africa and why are these same people violating the teachings in the same Bible they used to colonise Africa? What has changed? Why are the whites wasting a lot of resources in their vague attempts to force homosexuality down the throats of an unwilling people? Why are they not worried about the apparent lack of interest by Africans in scientific innovations? How can a group of people who slaughtered Christianity several years ago make laws for the Church in Africa to follow? The Bible mentions several sins (homosexuality, fornication, drunkenness, adultery, bestiality, incest, envy, stealing, etc.,). Why is the white man only interested in legalising homosexuality but not the rest? Why must bigamy be a crime in UK, USA, Canada, Australia, etc., but not homosexuality? There are people who believe that man is naturally polygamous and accordingly most men display polygamous tendencies and polygamy should be classified as a sexual orientation. Why is polygamy a crime in the land of those you chose to defend desperately without using your head? If you have no positive legacy to leave behind for especially the youth of Africa, please remain permanently quiet. Many gay married couples do have children and they live happy well adjusted lives with respect for all of life's diversity.
