From your own report-
1- Amidu had submitted the names to the President. So what was the point of that useless and clueless President demanding that he names those people in front of the people.
2- And don't you think it was stupid on Mills to threaten Amidu by firing him if he did not mention those names. This is what your wrote- "This didn’t go down well with the late president who insisted he (Martin Amidu) mentioned those names before his assembled colleague government officials or get fired "
Why should the President threatened Amidu when he knew well that Amidu had submitted those names to him. Is that presidential or professional?
Amidu's mistake was not showing his middle finger at Mills and resigned at that time and leave that place.
FOOLS.

When are you and your likes of NDC and your RENTED newsprints will ever tell the truth to Ghanaians. You have been lying to the public on major issues.
Ghanaians have come to respect Mr. Amidu for the stand he has taken to fight corruption which has engulfed your Ndc administration. Ghana is doling out money to questionable characters through dubious means and Mr. Amidu has taken this upon himself to retrieve these monies. Why don't we give him the backing ie moral and financial support for him to achieve this goal. But, no instead you are running him down with every news print, envy, distorted facts and shaming him with bitterness. Even if he was fired for insubordination and misconduct by the late President it was stated that he gave out the names of those who benefited from Mr. Alfred-the-sakawa s grand swindle to him. Why didn't the President act to find the truth?. Those names were given to him in camera and he wanted to make Amidu to repeat those names in public (WHY ?)
Use your newsprint to educate and not to attack and distort facts.

MARTIN, ACCORDING TO YOU WAS SURROUNDED BY PERSONS NAMED ABOVE. AMONG THEM ARE PARTNERS IN THE CRIMINAL ACT AND BENEFICIARIES OF IT. NOW WHAT WAS THE ESSENCE OF THIS MEETING? THE MEETING ACCORDING TO YOUR HEARSAY, WAS FOR MARTIN TO GIVE OUT THE NAMES AGAIN WHICH AT THIS POINT IN TIME WAS KNOWN TO ONLY TWO PEOPLE POSSIBLY NOW INCLUDING THE ASSEMBLED GANG. CANYOU IMAGINE THE ATMOSPHERE IN THE ROOM? WELL ICAN. VERY INTIMIDATING. IN A SITUATION LIKE THIS THERE IS BOUND TO BE ACTS OF PROVOCATION AND RETORTS. IT IS A TYPICAL CHARACTERISTIC OF ALMOST EVERY GHANAIAN. AT LEAST I REMEMBER ALHAJI BATURE AND KENNEDY AGYAPONG ON THE RADIO. I DO ALSO REMEMBER BABA JAMAL AND KENNEDY AGYAPONG AGAIN ON THE RADIO. Bature, your story so far reveals how ineffective Atta-Mills was in managing the affairs of the country, and presumably Amidu was up to his neck in frustration with the way the president had handled sensitive issues. Did we not hear about Rawlings slapping Atta-Mills in a previous setting? He should count himself lucky Amidu didn't slap him too after inviting him to name names in the presence of the very same people he wanted prosecuted! Insubordination my foot. He should have been impeached. What does a country do when a president is surrounded by thieves and is unable to do anything about it? It takes the courageous efforts of the likes of Amidu to take on such seemingly insurmountable tasks.
Amidu, you are a true hero and we are watching your back.

We know of many good leaders who would not have asked for Amidu's dismissal on that assertive stance. As a result, Iddrisu, Alhaji Bature, and his aL-hAJJ newspaper, or whatever it is, have no point.

OUR COMMENT: At least Martin Amidu is pushing so Ghanaians can hear the entire episode before judges, objective ones, if we are lucky. But, this is not to say the NPP has no part in it. As Abeeku Mensah reiterated the other day, it was the NPP government that went around procurement laws and gave that commitment document to Woyome. So, the NDC had all the information to stop the train wreck. But they did not. It is the NDC that must save the people by retrieving every pesewa.
You understand that, don't you?

I don't care about what you stupid and useless rats called Bature. It is only insane idiots like you, who will listen to one side of a story and take sides. With the bahviour of Martin Amidu, I am inclined to believe that, he was booted out for arrogance and disrespect for the president. He is still exhibiting it. It is quite clear that this man is full of bitterness for reasons known to he alone. It could be that he was not made the vice president, that led to his disrespect and the subsequent sacking. But let us face it. Is Woyome the only person to have been paid a judgement debt in Ghana? Why is Amidu so much interested in this particular one and not those paid to Akufo Addo's family members, Nana Konadu Rawlings, Rockshell and the list goes on? What of Kufour's criminally selling of our national assets and our oil theft? Amidu is in for mischief but he has already failed and he will fail again and again. He should continue to dance to the tune of the tribal npp and see the end result.I have never see a Northener of such character. If he wants us to believe him, he should react to what the paper is saying. In any case, this will not do nothing about the standing of the NDC, that he is being urge to damage. The NPP is worse if it comes to corruption. Amidu, think and stop this nonsense.

It is always going to be difficult to find angels among men just as it with the flawed people we parade around as heroes. The late Atta Mills was flawed because he dared to govern men by looking to what God would approve; having forgotten the sound advice from Jesus to render unto Caesar what is his and unto God what is due God.
Martin Amidu is flawed because he has allowed his desire for vengeance to consume whatever is left of his flawed ego just as Dr. Bawumia was brought down to earth during the Supreme Court case of NPP against the EC and NDC. These flawed individuals cannot live down the heroes they've become to the many who are flawed in the thinking processes into believing in heroes from the jump. There is bound to be a letdown sometimes and it is about time we collectively rely on our individual God-given talents to contribute to the national development in the capacities we live.

OUR COMMENT: Leaders must govern with reason, not emotion. That statement is not a "sackable" statement said to a leader who thinks with all their total faculties as they handle to business of the people. It shouldn't be.
Further, we do not believe we've seen any evidence, yet, that Mr. Amidu was/is a politician. A public servant, even one appointed by a President, you will agree, is technically not a politician, particularly in that the business of law.
We believe Amidu's effort on behalf of the people is commendable. We wish we had more than 10 Amidus, more than one for each Region in Ghana.

In this evil pursuit, this man who I understand is a journalist, borrows copiously from hearsay and rumour to build a fictitious case against citizen vigilante. But guess what, it wont work because Ghanaians are wide awake and suffering. The knitting together of this prefabricated article in itself reminds me of how the NDC contrived in concert to concoct the false claims that was presented by Woyome, their front man and financier.
Why are all these criminally-inclined NDC people suddenly trying to distract from the real issues of this Woyome matter instead of focusing on the grand theft of GHC51 million of our money? Is the personal conduct of Amidu towards a President who lost all credibility before he died, more important than the issue of the massive theft of our national resources?
Who cares if Amidu was rude to a President who was so out of touch with reality that he, like the current one, qualified to be described as either a dead goat or a complete moron? What we, the decent people of Ghana care about, is the mounting instances of corruption that seems to be going on everywhere around us by hopelessly corrupt govt officials and their assigns. Anybody who has eyes to see and a brain to think, can literally see this country collapsing and sinking before our very eyes. This is not a time to expect that any of us can nicely comport ourselves in the face of uninhibited and provocative corruption and the mismanagement of the nation.
Thus far, in his brave campaign to recover the stolen loot, Amidu has been proven right in the courts of law in this country. We dont need the incoherent fantasies of some washed out journalist who relies on petty gossip to write an article on the subject with a misleading title that starts with, "The inside Story .....
