  When did the Akan ever become a majority in Ghana ? Have you ever examined the national census figures or many related studies ?
  
  You need to go back to school - at least to learn to write better English. No wonder you are stuck in some third rate community college. I feel sorry for the unfortunate souls who have to be taught by someone like you.

  This is the logic that I have a problem with, in this needless ethnocentric feud championed by this Professor.
  
  We may all agree that all those executed deserved a fair trial to prove their guilt or otherwise in a Court of Law that would fully apply the Rule of Law. So, I can understand and support those who would criticize J. J. and his erstwhile Junta that carried on the execution for denying these victims those rights.
  
  But for the Professor to conjecture that the 3 Generals were killed simply because they were Akans is reaching too far to claim some justification for his own bigotry.

  We should stop looking back with a slanted view, or only one eye, as one of my pals likes to put it. Claims of ethnocentric bias could be made against a host of prominent Ghanaians in the past. But they must be substantiated beyond reasonable doubt.
  
  What we need to deal with, now, is forestalling the behavior in the present and our future. Besides, we tend to simply pluck convenient facts to justify our respective claims to victimization, without acknowledging the contexts under which the very incidents we may be referring to for those justifications occurred.
  
  It would be fair to establish any such ethnocentric victimization only when we lay out all the relevant facts pertaining to the events cited to support such claims.
  
  We can always effectively condemn any ill deeds on their own merits, without manufacturing some ethnocentric allusions for that condemnation.
  
  Surely, if any form of discrimination did occur that we want to point out for the deserving criticism, we must do so. But we could only do so and maintain our credibility if the facts poignantly establish that behavior by anyone.
  
  What we must refrain from is simply using hyperbole to conjure the malice where there is none, or even where the area is grey. That approach cultivates its own vengeful irrational claims by some on the other side of such allegations. And it all spirals into a large conflagration.
