As for president any candidate from any of the remaining political parties will beat your Mahama hands down because he's the worst president in the nation's history . Tribal bigotry has consumed your entire body like a cancer. It's incurable and terminal. Don't vote for any political party with the herd mentality. It's political suicide.

The truth is Ghanaians and most Africans are prone to superstitious beliefs than being realists. We are afraid of everything including the environment where we live because we are deficient in expert knowledge. The clinging to superstition is because it gives us ready made answers which are not necessarily true just as some people cling to their guns and Bible.
I suppose a good number of us are afraid to apply our thinking faculties and are unable to find out why certain things happen around us. When we're unable to determine the whys and the hows then we turn to speculation and when that also fails to satisfy our hunger we throw our hands up in the air and resign ourselves to the manipulations of fate. That's when superstition gets the better of us.
With all the education we have acquired the aphorism that "knowledge is power" feels so distant and alien. We still rely on "Wose wose, y3se y3see, ak33 ak33" because in this day and age we still lack the motivation and wherewithal for accurate and reliable scientific research. If we have any equipments they are outmoded and outdated. Until we stop "chopping" the money that can be used to acquire state of the art equipments for research work, until we begin to reward hard work, industry, ingenuity and entrepreneurship, until our economy is industry based and we export more than we import, until we do away with cronyism, nepotism, divisionism , isolationism, separatism, discrimination based on tribe, region and political affiliation we will continue to wallow in poverty, disease, hunger and under-development.
It's the lack of knowledge that makes people to suffer and to perish as the Bible says. The God who created us and the universe requires us to seek knowledge because "the glory of God is intelligence". Where there's lack of knowledge deviants, charlatans, etc fill the void with propaganda, misinformation, lies, manipulation, deception and fear. In spite of what we think of ourselves and the delusion of progress and advancement, life in most parts of Ghana especially in our country-side is like life in middle ages europe. That's what superstition does to a people.

Buhari contested 4 tmes but nana is going for his third time. He may be lucky in his 4 attempt if he is still alive by 2020 election but not in this 2016 election. the 2016 election is already won by NDC. Remember it is NDC as a political party that wins power for her candidates and not the other way round.
