Nigerians voted for Buhari because of a number of factors entirely absent in Ghana. One of those is that the Northern part of Nigeria neglected by Goodluck form majority of the people.
In Ghana, especially the Ghanaian woman will not vote someone who is shorter than her, uglier than her and most importantly vote a third grader and a pensioner. This view is entirely not in the eyes of a Nigerian woman. In this line, Ghanaians are different from Nigerians.

Those political animals inside and outside Ghana who through sheer ignorance, gimmicks or illogical comparative analysis remotely conclude President Mahama may likely suffer the same fate as that of Nigeria's Goodluck Jonathan do need mental exercises of the logical kind. Is it possible for a repeat in Ghana? Yes but so is the sunrise and sunset over Ghana and Nigeria. But the most damming of this silliness is Ghanaians, especially those of the NPP stripes, laying claim to the ills of Nigerians while for a lifetime Ghanaians try to let the world know Ghanaians are not Nigerians and do not subscribe to the deceit and criminal activities that has been on display for the world to see over the years.
But for shortterm political gain some Ghanaians without shame but full of tribal animus and hate for the many choose to be wrapped themselves in delusional outcomes. President Jonathan of Nigeria lost the elections for reasons of religious terrorism and a failure to be resolute. So as Muslims in the Northeast of Nigeria help shield Boko Harram bandits while they wreaked havoc under the Muslim faith, President Jonathan and the rest of the civil society in Nigeria could not muster the courage to use winning war strategies to achieve sanity.
Ghana has electrification problem but the failure of the NDC administration to explain the failures and requisite processes needed to permanently solve the problem could in no way be equated to the activities and acts of terrorism in Nigeria. Wishing it to be so is delusional and contemptible. Bribery and corruption are not inventions of the Mahama administration but as Kufour, the NPP demi-god, put it has existed since Adam and Eve. Most may not like the level of perceived corruption in Ghana but this too remind me of people dumb enough to argue the merits of death by stabbing and by gunshot. Who amongst Ghana's illogical bunch would accept the death of a family member because it came by gunshot and not stabbing? Since it is not acceptable at death so it is we cannot have NPP or NDC pretend the level of corruption makes a difference. To minimize the effects of corruption at any time or place in government on the basis of political party preference is not irrational but ungodly.

It's as if mercy's hand is extending a symbol of forgiveness to the "dead goat" aka "yentie obiaa" President. Since there's no royal road or privileged path to forgiveness is the president willing to go through the entire process of repentance which include 1. recognition of sin 2. feel sorrow for the sin 3. forsake the sin 4.confess 5. Make restitution, 6. forgive others and 7. and, keep the commandments?
But can and will effulgent hope and the memory of countless lost opportunities and wastefulness dwell together and succeed in painting the beautiful picture of your dream for the president? I'm very doubtful. It's a journey that he will never make. I guess it's too much too late.
