There's no way they can compare their leaders to Dr Kwame Nkrumah.
UP/NPP diabolical mentality is the bases of the retrogression of our country Ghana.

ADJOA THE WANGARA
She comes wangaring around
Like an old hag Akadu
We raise our eyebrows
In shame to look
This old knave has it all
With a dry shit up her butt
She makes a really big heap
A heap here a step there
A pretty prety baser sort
Your whore! we say your whore!
It's for eury rascal
AHOOFE IS READY...
Give the barn yard cock
Our most cherished love
Give him a kiss for us
A kiss, a love kiss forever
Kwame Ahoofe is your love
You call Pryce
You call Kwarteng
You call Old Gersis too
But you get an empty wind
The shame of Eve is our shame
That shame is in our minds
We don't reply to old hags
You call again you try again
But again and again in vain
So you get silence again
Kwarteng will reply not
Pryce will reply not
But Old Gersis has
A most beautiful poem
Composed for this pretty hag
But I down the lines for you
My Love in poetry
A pungent air emenating from
This old hag's behind
In a cool Spring time
My nose is stuffed with the aroma
A pungent emenating aroma
From her behind
Old Wangara; Oh, Old Wangara!
This is for you
My dear lovely hag
This poem is for you
KWAME AHOOFE is ready

Dear Brother Antonio Gersis,
Beautiful and insightful and flowery and caustic and intelligent, all coming for the rhetorical authority of your pen!
Like you rightly said in the poem, I will maintain my silence. The fact is that I don't even read ADJOA WANGARA comments to even know what he says about me or my writing.
And since he does not get my attention, he goes to MODERNGHANA and, under different monikers, tries his failed tricks just to see if he could get my attention. There, too, my Brother Antonio Gersis I don't read him or pay him any attention.
As for Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe the less said about him, the better. Most of the time he has no clue what he writes or talks about; he is another one I don't pay attention to, at least intellectually. Ahoofe is not serious! And I like to keep bigots far away from me!
Have a great weekend, Brother Antonio Gersis!

George Orwell is best known for his novel "Animal Farn" which Nkrumah effectively banned, along with many books which his paranoid mind deemed to be insinuative of his dictatorship. Prof. Kwarteng wouldn't have encountered this novel if Nkrumah wre alive. And failure to recognize this fact constitutes prosopagnosia of the highest order.
As the poison ivy of the African leadership template, Nkrumah single- ha deadly caused the coup detats in Africa that introduced the likes of Iddi Amin, Emperor Bokasa, Siad Barre, Yayah Jammeh and Eyademah to politics in Africa. His greatest minion is Mugabe of Zimbabwe. As a pioneer in the African leadership experiment, he led in the abolition of the basic freedoms of the citizenry and trampled on their independence. He abolished the pluralistic democratic dispensation, the habeas corpus, freedom of the press, freedom of creative entertainment, the freedom of association and the freedom of the franchise, destroying the pride and dignity of the people to have a choice in their leadership.
Under these severe indictments, what do people mean by the scientific ideas of Nkrumah? What science is found in emplacing one's effigy on the common currency and splashing one's images and statues on the streets? What is the science in imprisonment without trial, or declaration of life presidency or the imposition of a one party state? And when people speak of Nkrumaism as the embodiment of Nkrumah's ideas, exactly what do they mean? what are these ideas? Is it his attempt to impose the template of his leadership under a United Africa; or his disastrous economic policy that led a rich country bankrupt; or his waywardness in neglecting the affairs of state in pursuit of some unfathomable international prestige?
Now all of a sudden, the death of Yew has provided the Nkrumaist with an imaginary hero by which to measure Nkrumah's misbehavior. To the Nkrumaist, that is their version of scientific thinking, that they will narrowly strike a similarity in Yew and Nkrumah' s dictatorship, gleaning the former's success and imputing it as a certain possibility under Nkrumah. This is what scientific reasoning is like under the Nkrumaists. Now I dare say that if Nkrumah lived today, he would have shown remorse for his evil deeds and converted, like Buhari, to a true democrat to shame his followers.
But this reality will not dawn on the Nkrumaists whose idea of progress is shriveled in the daily praise of a dead dictator. And this type of ardent incapacity to hear no wrong, see no wrong and say nothing wrong about Nkrumah lies at the corner of their own unscientific thinking. They cannot even put a working definition of a dictator and find that Nkrumah perfectly fits in. What else can they do?
And that is why I say that if all that Nkrumah did was to be a brutal dictator, our citizens would have lived past it by this time. But Nkrumah went beyond his dictatorship to destroy the minds of the people to accept tyranny as liberty, and fallacy as gospel truth, and long after his death, our most educated citizens have their minds obnobilated by his fiction, and the truth is not something they can speak. That is why the future is bleak.
But our hope is now widespread insofar as the notions perpetuated by Nkrumah have been abolished. Nigeria has taken the lead in showing the beauty of the democratic dispensation, and Ghana ia also an example. In the coming years, Africa's respect in the world will be quantified by how closely the continent follows the democratic footprints of Osagyefo Dr. J. B. Danquah, and how far it shuns the evil ideology of Nkrumah. And within the context of the new dispensation, anachronistic rant like that spewed here by Prof. Kwarteng will surely find its way to the dung heap of history, to be cited as a true example of the morbid reasoning and incoherent ideation of the psychotic Nkrumaists........
And Nkrumaist followers, his agents, assigns, ideologues and praise singers will be condemned to the darkest catacombs of political Erebus, from which their ideological screechings will be akin to the whimperings of a hungry dog.
And when all these come to pass, sensible men will find better pastime for their talents, instead of spewing what is evolving here to be a trash heap the size of Mount Everest.

First, this "village lawyer" should not be calling himself "dokita".No American lawyer with just JD(LLB) - not even President Obama,a former Law professor or Justices of the U.S.Supreme Court, use the prefix "Dr.". But leave it to this KURASENI to call himself "dokita"(He took his NKRUASESEM to Amelika!).
Sarfo can question some of Osagyefo Dr.Nkrumah's policies and also the writings of his supporters. But to constantly substitute emotional vitriol to derogate them instead of challenging them on the facts presented,is cleary irresponsible and definitely warrants a severe rebuttal.
Second,Nkrumah took Sarfo naked and with distended stomach, from his parents'farm and put him into a free primary school and a GET school, where he learnt how to use cutlery - instead of his bare hands. From there,he went to Cape Coast Universty, also established by Nkrumah and the CPP.This "educated" idiot ended up at Legon, where the CPP government spent $millions to upgrade it from just University College(degrees were granted by the University of London)- to a full-fledged university.
The pertinent question to ask this fool is:What has he done so far in return for Ghana - after the huge investment?
Nkrumah went to the U.S and worked at odd jobs, while attending college - including the University of Pennsylvania(an Ivy League school: MA in Science Education and MA in Philosophy),one of the best universities in the whole world. Sarfo and Ahoofe,do you hear that?).
At the age of forty one(41)when Sarfo had not even started law school, Nkrumah became Prime Minister of the Gold Coast, and started laying the foundation for the transformation of the Gold Coast/Ghana into a first class nation, like Lee Kuan Yew(Singapore) and Tunku Abdulk Rahman(Malaysia)did after their independence from Britain.
This brinks yours truly to the nonsensical point raised by this Sarfo and other relatives and supporters of the Mate Meho terrorists (Sarpong,Ahoofe and Kobina Kennedy)- that Nkrumah was a "dictator" and not a democrat. That's BS!! Osagyefo Dr.Nkrumah and the CPP won two national elections before independence, which were supervised by the then colonial power,Britain. Infact,in the two pre-independence elections,Danquah lost in his Akyem constituency to his own nephew and ex-wife(CPP candidates), who kicked his ass that he became depressed.
Again,Nkrumah won the presidential election in 1960 and became the first Presdident of Ghana. So what the xxxx these fools are talking about? Was
Danquah a true democrat? If he weas, why didn't he accept his defeats in the elections, but rather resorted to terrorisct and unpatriotic activities - including assassination attepts on the life of Nkrumah. In fact, many people blame Osagyefo for being too lenient with his enemies.
Former colonized states like India, Singapore and Malaysia - all passed Preventive Detention laws(PDA)to combact terrorism and to protect national security. As of today, Malaysia still has those laws on the Books. This took place just after independence when the opposition parties(like Mate Meho NLM/UP/PP/PFP/NPP)resorted to bombings, kidnappings and assassination attempts. It took British soldiers who were brought in, to defeat the terrorists. More than 3000 Malaysians died in the insurrection.
Yep,in those days, the opposition terrorists in India,Malaysia and Singapore called each one of these leaders - Nehru,Tunku Abdul Rahman and Lee Kuan Yew - a "dictator", as Mate Meho terrorists and their progenies here and abroad, refer to Nkrumah.
Today, all three former leaders are praised as founders of their respective countries - for laying the foundation for scientific, social, economic and cultural transformation of their respective countries.
It is ironic that Safo(a Slip and Fall lawyer)and his cohort in U.S., have not heard of the Patriot Act - the draconian national security law that makes the PDA in Ghana in the 1960s,look like a CHILD'S PLAY.It was used as a cover to kill Alway al-Alwaki,a terrorist and his son Abdulram in a drone strike in Yemen on September30,2011.Both were American born citizens and were not granted DUE PROCESS - and yes, this happened in an advanced democracy.
Despite the hundreds of people killed, maimed and the assassination attempts aimed at Nkrumah - by NLM/UP terrorists, the CPP government never executed any of the terrorists, including Danquah. And if an advanced democracy like America, excecutes terrorists like Alawaki and Timothy McVeigh, the Oklahoma City bomber(to protect their national security - why is that these fools are not calling the U.S president a dictator, but brand Nkrumah as one?
Likewise in Britain,Parliament has passed tough Anti- Terrorism laws that are staight out of George Orwell's "Animal Farm". Already, there's a video camera at every corner in the country, and in both America and Britain, telephones, emails,Internet and intrusive measures affecting the individual citizen, are the order of the day.
If then,Nkumah's years were horrible, what's happening in the two advanced democracies is "hell". Yet,the Mate Meho fools living in Texas, where black and brown are prevented from voting in some areas;where more people are executed than any state in the Union;and black and brown citizens are stopped every time, while driving(DWB)or walking - see Texas as having an "UTOPIAN DEMOCRACY" than Ghana in the 1960s,where no one was prevented from voting for whomever they wanted - in the voting boot.
Like Ahoofe,Sarfo is going BONKERS.
Yours truly pulls no punches.
HAPPY EASTER!!

Btw, I learned as a child that my people referred to medical doctors as "dorkita" but those who get a PhD as "kabita", lit., "got a wound in the head", and with a negative tone. I thought that was negative, years later, anti-intellectual, as even those who didn't go to school at all used it in a derisive manner. But, I've grown up to understand why they acquired and used the term. Most PhDs, indeed, have got wounds in their heads, for better for worse. My series, intellectual bankruptcy in Ghana is a realisation of the failure of the so-called educated Ghanaians to make their education meaningful in a universal, national devt of the people since the overthrow of the CPP regime in 1966.
Your mentioning the suppression of the communists in Malaysia, Singapore, etc. reminded me of my surprise in 1986 or so when I read that an agreement was signed b/n the rebels and the govt to end the insurgency. I thought it had ended decades earlier. After 9/11, while doing my then day job interviewing households for a research company, I met some retired Brit ex-servicemen who fought against the insugrents in Malaysia. One was very frank and said that with what their govts had been doing overseas, he wasn't surprised 9/11 happened. He expected it much earlier!
In fact, way back in the 90s, intellectually inclined academics were already writing about WWW111 being fought with the Islamic world. Googling will bring out many of those articles.

Nkrumah himself did not know what that was. His minions at the Ideological Institute were trying to concoct definition for his approval. Yet the latter-day Nkrumahists appear to know more about it than the man himself.
Just look at these exchanges in trying to define Nkrumahism at the time.
...........................................
----Dear Addison,I have now given careful study to the definitions of Nkrumaism which you submitted under cover of your letter of the 12th February, and suggest that Nkrumaism can best be defined as follows:Nkrumaism is the ideology for the new Africa, independent and absolutely free from imperialism, organised on a continental scale, founded on conception of one and united Africa, drawing its strength from modern science and technology and from the traditional African belief that the free development of each is the condition for the free development of all.
INTERESTING EXCHANGES.
The definition of Nkrumaism did not come easily.Several African intellectuals worked on the definition of Nkrumaism and we are reproducing exchanges amongst Nkrumah, Kodwo Addision, Director of the Kwame Nkrumah Ideological Institute and S.G. Ikoku, a Nigerian associate of Nkrumah on the issue. The exchanges are dated 1964.
Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah,President of the Republic of Ghana,The Castle,Accra
My Dear Leader,We have been able to compile a brie definition of the scientific meaning of Nkrumaism for your perusal and necessary amendments. If this passes through the central committees, we would take it as a final definition of Nkrumaism. This work has been done by Mr. A.K Gaituah, Lecturer in Nkrumaism and myself. We attach, herewith, three different definitions for final selection.Assuring you of my absolute loyalty.
TO OSAGYEFO THE PRESIDENT ON NKRUMAISM
There are two criticisms of all three definitions of Nkrumaism propounded here.In the first place, these are “descriptions” and not strictly definitions. In the second place, these definitions regard Nkrumaism as the ideology of the “eve” of the total liquidation of imperialism in all its forms from Africa. Strictly speaking, therefore, this means that Nkrumaism will have served its purpose as soon as imperialism in all its forms is eradicated from Africa. This concept limits the historical significance of Nkrumaism to the struggle against imperialism and loses sight of another major aspect of the ideology which is the social, economic and political reconstruction, on a continental scale, that is to replace the ravages, schisms and conflicts of imperialism, colonialism and neo-colonialism.
A VIEW OF NKRUMAISM
Before attempting a brief definition of Nkrumaism, it is useful to consider the fundamental elements in the work and teachings of Kwame Nkrumah. Firstly, there is the question of destroying colonialism and imperialism in each African country. Secondly, there is the question of creating a new vibrant social order to take the place of the old society.
Thirdly, there is the question of organising this new social order on a continental scale. And fourthly, there is the question of the strategy (the social forces and the forms of struggle) for the attainment of the related objectives of destroying colonialism and imperialism in each African country, fashioning a new social order in each African nation, and achieving a new synthesis on an all-Africa level. Clearly, there is the need for an ideology which will provide a rational basis for the attainment of these objectives often summarily referred to as the African Revolution. We know the sort of Africa in which we live today. We have to define with precision the sort of Africa in which we hope to live tomorrow. In addition, we have to indicate how we intend to make the transition, knowing very well that the movement from where we are to where we want to be involves a revolutionary process.
Nkrumaism will thus represent the ideology of the new Africa towards the creation of which we have to direct all our energies as a people. It will, in addition, provide a rational exposition of the strategy and tactics for advancing to this new Africa. The goal is an Africa organically united at the continental level, unconditionally and absolutely free from the controls and trappings of direct and disguised imperialism, dedicated to the guarantee of a full and decent life for all its people, brought into being and sustained by the conscious efforts and organised will of the masses. Accordingly, we can define Nkrumaism as the ideology of the new Africa absolutely free from imperialism, organised on a continental scale, and founded upon a Re- Assertion in terms of modern technology of the traditional African view that the free development of each is the condition for the free development of all.
NKRUMAISM
Nkrumaism is the ideology for the new Africa, absolutely free from imperialism, organised on a continental scale, founded on the conception of one united Africa drawing its strength from modern science and technology and from the traditional African belief that the free development of each is the condition for the free development of all.Dear Addison,I have now given careful study to the definitions of Nkrumaism which you submitted under cover of your letter of the 12th February, and suggest that Nkrumaism can best be defined as follows:Nkrumaism is the ideology for the new Africa, independent and absolutely free from imperialism, organised on a continental scale, founded on conception of one and united Africa, drawing its strength from modern science and technology and from the traditional African belief that the free development of each is the condition for the free development of all.
Dear Mr. Addison,
DEFINITION OF “NKRUMAISM”
Osagyefo has asked me to thank you for your letter of today's date. With regard to the publicity which must be given to the agreed definition of Nkrumaism, Osagyefo has asked me to say that this is a matter not for him, but for you and the ideological Institute to get in touch with the national press.Osagyefo has also asked to say that he feels that the institute should establish some machinery whereby it keeps in close contact with the Young Pioneers, the Workers Brigade and all youth organisations and institutions-not forgetting the chiefs.
Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah,President of the Republic of GhanaThe Castle,Accra
My Dear Leader,
DEFINITION OF NKRUMAISM
Thank you for your letter dated 2nd March, 1964. I have considered seriously the last definition contained in this letter under reference about “Nkrumaism”. I am convinced that it is the best so far and in order to bring it home Ghanaians and African masses, I suggest that our national papers give it a bold publicity. You may also decide to circularize it to the Ghana Young Pioneers and other institutions of learning.Assuring you of my absolute loyalty.(KODWO ADDISON)Director

Thanks for notice on those remarkable exchanges on "Nkrumaism".
Might we know the source(s)?
Further, we are not entirely convinced your statement "...Nkrumah himself did not know what that was..." is justified by:
"...With regard to...agreed definition of Nkrumaism, Osagyefo has asked me to say that this is a matter not for him, but for you and the ideological Institute..."
(THE PREMISE)
Your conclusion does not logically follow the premise from the Nkrumah team.
In fact, that is the kind of statement and decision we must expect of good leaders.
ITEM: The people now have the multi-disciplinary principles. Let the people do with them what they think will serve them best.
There is no dictatorship there!
YOUR: "...the latter-day Nkrumahists appear to know more about it than the man himself..."
WE SAY: Surely! This is serious scholarship for many on all continents of the world. Nkrumah, after all, is not merely GhanaHero, Numero Uno/Ichi. They have the benefit of hindsight; access to more information and data, even after deliberate destruction of important records by Busia's NLM and NLC; better capacity and capability to now put everything into global context, for all to see.
ITEM: It is not up to the teacher to provide the overarching principle on multiple-faceted ideas informed by multiple disciplines. That is the work of those with the teacher, and who follow, therefter.

What kind of Nkrumahist are you if you don't even have access to the basic stuff of the Ideological Institute. Most of the intellectual work of the Ideological Institute are widely available to any serious Nkrumahist and academic of Nkrumah's works. Start from the microfische archives of even the Accra Central Library. Even an Accra newspaper like the Chronicle was able to dig up most of the things I posted here today in 2011.
So, if the idea is still evolving, then why are you guys so sure of what Nkrumah wanted to do, when his ideas were not even fully developed?

Truthiness,
Who said we were "avowed Nkrumahists"?
We've always approached the question from a Ghana-centered perspective! That one does not require one to the "Nkrumahists", we believe!
Never was Young Pioneer!
Parents and self were never in the Brigade!
Parents may have split the votes between the CPP and UP!
Little of the education/studies beyond secondary had to do with the history of Ghana, the government of Ghana, etc.
As we've said more than once, recently, we just got tired of the totally unjustified, and continuous attacks on Nkrumah and waded into the discourse, from the Ghana-centered perspective.
But when we did, we were prepared!
And we can say that we do not hail from Nkroful, nor are were related to any the families or communities in that area. No uncles, no grand daddies, no great-grand-mothers.....
If you get our objective point! To the point, one is never considered objective or fair if one's interest in a matter is founded on sibling affiliation, parentage, or where on hails from.
So, all that ought to tell you something!
YOUR: "...So, if the idea is still evolving, then why are you guys so sure of what Nkrumah wanted to do, when his ideas were not even fully developed?..."
OUR RESPONSE: Answered in part by our first. Further, socio-political, economic, and cultural institutions are dynamic - ever changing. Smart humans apply tested principles to new conditions recognizing that adapting and managing change is the most important human endeavor.
Funny you mention the Accra Central Library.
Many years ago, we were on the Staff of the Ghana Library Board, in Accra, then Kumasi.
But no, we will not return to the Accra Central Library for no microfiche next time we are in Ghana. We will leave that work for the "Chronicle" and similar outlets and interests. At the same time, we are glad to know that those items were not destroyed by Busia and his NLM-NLC cohorts.
.......they should have already been transferred to more user-friendly media, already!
Point is, we all now have the benefit of hindsight, nearing 2020 as we ever could be, and know what we've gotten since "the overthrow".
More important, information and sources provided by Francis Kwarteng, and others on the topic of late, show a fully developed perspective applicable in all areas of Ghanaian/African national/supra-national life and endeavor.

One website associated with US foreign policy mentions some Russian technology/blueprint which the leader of the coup allowed the CIA local chief, stationed in Accra and the man behind the coup, to carry to the US in the wake of the coup. I have given out this information and the source about three weeks ago.
Prof. Lungu, I know you like to give people the benefit of the doubt but don't waste your time on him. In fact, I would not have directly responded to him if you and Osei Kwame had not.
I have tons of sources but won't waste my time on him! He Truthiness should go and read the earlier ones I gave him, and I will give him more!
Thanks.

You referred to exchanges of information in 1964 but what you failed to realise is that before Nkrumah's overthrow on February 24th 1966,Nkrumah and his followers knew e exactly what Nkrumahism was.

Dear Truthiness,
Good day.
Please don't waste our time here. Get your hands on Dr. Kofi Kissi Dompere's works for a thorough academic (scientific, philosophic, and mathematical) dicussion of the core concepts of Nkrumahism.
As it stands, Dr. Dompere is ranked among the Top 100 Influential Thinkers in modern times. He is probably the world's leading Nkrumahist academic today (with his close friend Dr. Kwame Botwe-Asamoah. Dr. Botwe-Asamoah can help you deal with soem of the major knowledge gaps in your thinking. Get Dr. Botwe-Asamoah's "Kwame Nkrumah's Politico-Cultural Thought and Policies." He too brings a whole library of resources to answer your questions).
Get also Dr. Zizwe Poe's book "Kwame Nkrumah's Contributions to Pan-Africanism: An Afrocentric Analayis" for one of the most serious academic discussion of Nkrumahism. Dr. Zizwe brings an entire library of sources to bear on his exposition on Nkrumahism, to help readers like you.
I have mentioned some of these in my previous essays and therefore can't be reaping them again and again. Please just go read these three and come back. I have more for you!
And don't waste our time with your see-saw diversions.
Thanks.

Prof, what you are giving us here is like Goebbels version of Nazism. You, as an academic, should do a more academic job on Nkrumah, unbiased. That is my beef with some of you, especially, knowing what I know.

Dear Truthiness,
There are a lot of information, historical documents, etc., that Adu Boahen and his team of researchers later discovered whose exposure you will not find in F.K. Buah.
There is so much about the Gold Coast and Ghana you will never find in F.K. Buah's works. With F.K. Buah, you are dealing with texts for high schools.
There is not much seriousness you can attach to F.K. Buah in terms of "scientific" historiography. And like I hinted to you before, new information, documents, and archeological data about the Gold Coast, Ghana, and Africa that you cannot find in F.K. Buah. Thus, F.K. Buah is good for SSS, JSS, and the old secondary school.
Even Dr. Kwame Botwe-Asamoah plans to issue a new edition of his book because new information and documents on the Gold Coast, Ghana, Nkrumah, and our political history have come to his attention.
And I will also tell you that Dr. Botwe-Asamoah is one of the best on Nkrumah. You know why? Go through the bibliography of his book and you will realize that he assembled a number of the most authoritative works on the British Empire, America, the CIA, Gold Coast, Ghana, Nkrumah, Africa, etc.
This is how I evaluate my writers. To tell you the truth, I have read most of the works in Dr. Botwe-Asamoah's bibliography to know what I am talking about! Some of the works which Dr. Botwe-Asamoah cites in his bibliography, like that of Dr. David Owusu-Ansah, are sympathetic to the Danquah-Busia Tradition.
Clearly this tells me you have not read him. Or that you are not a critical reader. As a matter emphasis, any good reader will read a non-fiction work and go on to examine the accompanying bibiography to see where an author's sympathies lie and what the compatibilities and divergences are between a writer and his sources.
Finally, students (undergraduate and graduate (master's, PhD) have been citing Dr. Botwe-Asamoah's works in their theses/dissertations in Ghana (other parts of Africa, Canada, US, etc).
So what are you talking about? Besides, he has sat on editorial boards here in the US that evaluate and award prizes to the profundest scholarly works written on the African world. Tell me also how Ghana's National Archives feature in Dr. Botwe-Asamoah's work.
After all is said and done, Dr. Botwe-Asamoah had also interviwed (and still has all the recorded interviews) of the major figures (those still living) who shaped Ghana's politics from the Gold Coast era onwards: University professors, military officers, writers, historians, musicologists, and anyone class of people you can think (who played a major role prior to, during and after the First Republic! You have no idea what you are talking about.
Dr. Botwe-Asamoah is one of the few scholars to review Dr. Dompere's works on Nkrumah before they are published! And Dr. Dompere is one of the Top 100 thinkers in the world today!
Now do me a favor: Give me a page critiqing any work of Dr. Botwe-Asamoah's that you have read, incluing his book and essays (those on Ghanaweb). Provide me a carefully written bibliography.
I can say on authority that you have not read Dr. Botwe-Asamoah's book. If you had, give me a five-page summary of the book including a list of other world-class historian, researchers, and scholars who have listed his book in their works. You can also give me a short list of doctoral disserations where his publications are listed.
You can consult Dr. Dompere's and Dr. Poe's works for serious academic (scientific, philosophical, mathematical, etc) discussion of Nkrumahism (you have most of the authoritative works on Nkrumah and Nkrumahism in just these two works).
Let me once you are done. I have tons of additional resources for. Contact Dr. Kwame Botwe-Asamoah and he will tell you all you need to know. After that you can send me an email (franciskkwarteng@yahoo.com) telling me which of the things he tells you comes from Goebbels or Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe.
I am waiting!

I really found this pedestrian, knowing what I know. Karl Marx also didn't define Marxism, you know?
In fact, when he found out what his followers were doing in Germany which was at variance with what he was expounding, he famously remarked that if that was what they called Marxism, then he Karl Marx wasn't a Marxist!
After his death, his friend and co-author Engels spent most of his remaining life time trying to explain what they meant in their writings, trying to save their works from the many bastardisations like the Stalinist type which emerged much later.
You see, just as other people give names to others, your parents for to you example, so it is with the definitions given to a series of philosophical ideas expoused by thinkers. In some cases, students of such philos0phers synthesized the ideas into coherent whole.
So be it with Nkrumahism, since it wasn't conceived as a dogmatic ideology. Nkrumah himself in exile revised his ideas a whole lot to fall in line with Marxist-Leninist teachings, some say, thereby rejecting his earlier Nkrumahist ideas. E.g., he changed his position on there being no classes in Africa. And happily for a non-believer like myself, as written by June Milne, he changed his belief on there being a supreme being which created the universe, blah, blah, blah, to the scientific positiion.

Nkrumah, of course, was a believer in God well after his overthrow. He trained and passed all the courses in divinity ready to be consecrated as a pastor/rev. but only settled for a cert. for preaching while in the US. But the man was dealing in an intellectual, scientific world and in ideology of the left which does not endorse a belief in supernatural forces shaping human lives, and so, as to be expected, was subjected to a lot of debate/challenge by the truly and totally scientific colleagues, esp. whites. I simply mentioned what his literary executrix mentioned: that Nkrumah, in exile, evolved beyond the substantive/primitive level of rationalisation/thinking to the truly scientific level which does not sanction the story of the creation of the universe by a supreme deity in 6 days, who took a rest on the 7th. Only fundamentalist Christians believe in such a lame claim these days, btw.
