Again you appear to be ignorant of the Constitutional recognition of the Asantehene and the enabling legislation that confers on him the powers of the creation of Amanhene. You are soo ignorant your effusions only mis-educate the readership.   I was buffled to learn recently that Otumfour Osei Tutu II has elevated Kumawu Drobonsohene to the status of "OMANHENE" after several hundreds acre of land was doled out. It is unconstitutional and needs to be reversed ASAP. Over to you Barima Sarfo Tweneboa Koduah. Kumawuman Nkwaso!!!!

  When Asanteman was formed where were you, because that was the best place to ask these unnecessary questions: so I'll advise you to there and ask these useless questions that you think they deserve answers from people.   1. Berekum is part of the Asanteman Council.
  2. There are 4 paramount chiefs in Kumasi. Bantama, Asafo, Adonten and Akyempem.
  3. The position of Asantehene is above a paramount chief. This is enshrined in the Chieftaincy Act and guaranteed by the constitution of Ghana.
  4. The Chieftaincy Act defined chief to comprise of: Asantehene and Paramount Chiefs
  Divisional Chiefs or Abrempong
  Odikro nd others
  5.It was Otumfour Opoku Ware II who elevated Tuobodom Stool into paramountcy and not the current Asantehene.
  
  My advise to you is to state and stand by the truth devoid of other biases. Additionally, be civil in your writings

  3. Bantama stool, together with Adonten, Akwamu and Akyempem stools of Kumasi, is ranked as a paramount stool. This was not done today; neither was it done by Otumfour Osei Tutu II.
  4. There is a difference between an Odikro and an Obrempon; the former is subordinate to the latter.
  I wonder how you got such a misleading article published.

Pls note that Osei Tutu isnt the first Asantehene and wont be the last.Why do u want to run down the whole institution bcos in ur view the occupant aired in the Kumawu issues.I dont believe u are really Asante bcos Asantes may hate the occupant of the stool but have never shown this level of disrespect to the office if the Asantehene.
  Moreso,u seem to be so ignorant with Asante history. There was no Asantehene before the golden stool, the stool became the most powerful authority in the new kingsom hence the Asantehene the most powerful chief.
