Kwamina, laugh at yourself. The fight against corruption has never been an easy one BUT be minded that honesty, integrity and truth are the ways of GOD not man. The heart of man is hardened and wicked sayeth the Lord but no man can stand against the power of the most high. I am waiting upon the Lord to direct when I join Martin but let it be known that Ghana is bigger than the NDC and good will always prevail over evil. I thank Dr. Imoro for his wise counsel but I disagree with him on the subject of joining the NPP for this crusade. The NPP is desperate and will dine with the devil to come to power for their own selfish interests. This war is for the Lord nad Martin has been called to lead the fight. He will be protected by the Lord and he will fight from his bedroom or where ever he finds himself.

Buhari won the Nigerian elections partly because he was known as an anti corruption crusader whose life and deeds supported his principled stand. Ghana's corruption has become dangerously colossal. If Ghanaians want to bring an end to this cancer in our country, will they vote Nana Akuffo Addo as the one who can champion this crusade? Is Nana known in Ghana as an anti-corruption crusader? Has he walked the talk? If so , Ghanaians, elect him as the next president of Ghana irrespective of his age. However, one thing I know among Ghanaians of today; many of us acknowledge Martin Amidu as an anti-corruption crusader, but he certainly cannot fit into any of the two major parties. If he decides to lead Ghana today or tomorrow, believe me, many Ghanaians will crown him as the antidote of belly politics this nation has caged herself in. If Ghanaians are truly yearning for and looking forward to electing their own Buhari, an anti-corruption crusader, then persuade Martin Amidu to form a political party (because old wine and new wine cannot mix together) and elect him as president.

What a waste of precious space. Moro, I want to remind you that, your idol,Amidu is a bitter person and a big hypocrite as well as a pretender. He is not fihgting corruption the least. He is settling scores with those he considered to be his enemies, forgetting that he is his own enemy. Your Amidu is the most hypocrite human being in this country. Where was he when Kufour stole our oil money in the name of comission? Where was he when he sold vodafone, one of our best and most cherished assets and pocketed the money? What about the drillship, the Ghana Airways and the rest? I don't want to talk about Ghana@ 50. Is that your hypocrite Amidu aware of the prime lands stolen by Kufour and his cronies? It seems you don't have nothing better doing hence this rubbish in support of a hypocrite like Amidu. Ghanaians are not fools and can read in between lines. I am even inclined to believe that, your idol, Amidu is sick in the head because he doesn't even knows the exactly enemy he is fighting.Thank God a character like this did not have the opportunity to become the vice president, and subsequently, the president.Moro, you are pathetic. Get a life.

Market economy is a corrupt socioeconomic system. For instance when the Ukrainian parliament voted not to join EU that organization and the United States of America under President Barack Obama forced the Ukraine to join EU through un-costitutional means, some members of that parliament voted with guns on their head. It is also corruption when a nation renegade on an agreement she signed with others, including those with individuals. The matter here is that the government of Ghana renegade on an agreement. The behaviour of Martin Amidu and NPP in this matter shows to the world that Ghanaians are not law abiding, rootless and vindictive. Martin Amidu has not protected the image of Ghana among the community of nations and the fall back from his actions will leave this country with scares, which she will have to carry for years.

To Imoro oh whatever he calls himself. This is not the issue you can use to get at the government whose only crime to Mamprusi in Bawku is that this government has not agree to their over zealous agenda to lord it over the indigence in BAWKU. Imoro should know that ndc is not npp who are ready to help them undermine their land lords(the Kusasis). If they can't live with it, they can migrate back to walewale where they came from. After all, man is a nomad and can always settle and resettle elswhere. Was this imoro in this country when for the first time in our history, the sitting president was stealing openly and when we discovered the oil, the then president set up a company called EO group which took 3.5% of our oil share and latter sold half (1.75%) for USD 305M. Where was this 'sheeje' call imoro when stealing was the order of the day under npp. He did not see it because npp empowered them to lord it over their host in Bawku. NDC is the party of fairness. No settler will be allowed to bully the host be it a mampurisi from bawku (even the real mamprusis don't regard them as true mamprusis) or from Binduri to lord it over their land lord because they have dishonest characters like imoro in thier mist.

I say to you both, Dr. Issah and Martin Amidu, your cosmetic fight is brought on by vengeance and not derived from any principled stance. And the lack of principles, I believe, is at the root of the moral decadence in the society we've become. As humans we failed our creator for those who accept faithfully in a higher power of God or Allah and it’s thus not surprising that we cannot adhere to the foundations of the rules that govern society.
Martin Amidu practices law and may be good at it because there are principles, practices and procedures lawyers must adhere to and so do you Dr. Issah to the rules that gave you your doctorate level degree. So why don't both of you explain in simple comprehensible terms how the Ghana government open bid procurement practices gave us any of the judgment debts that made Martin Amidu a household name in Ghana?
A principled Martin Amidu would have started from the open bid process if Martin really did want to clean up corruption; he chose to go after those who did get screwed by a government corrupt system out of vengeance and a coward’s way of making a name for himself. Martin knows darn well too that but for the specific law regarding contract between government and entities with part foreign ownership that calls for approval by parliament there was a classic contract between Woyome and Youth and Sports which was responsible for the renovations at those stadiums. A contract can be oral and or written and does not need a third party approval; that is the basic contract definition Martin.
Dr. Issah must stop relying on quotations by people without thorough analysis and evaluation of content or context. It is lost of morals that give rise to both corruption and prostitution and making a distinction between two immoral acts is tantamount to preferring adultery over homosexuality; both are sins before God; we chose sides because of our own immoralities.

Too many words that don't make any damn sense. Martin Amidu started fighting corruption in his own party and that earned him the sack. He's not fighting corruption in the NDC because he got fired from his job. If you are so irate with Amidu because he turned his back on corruption within his party what would you then say to the founder of the party, Rawlings, who broke his long silence and made the most damning statement against corruption in his own party, the ruling NDC administration by saying it's unprecedented in the history of the nation? We need more anti-corruption crusaders like Amidu in all the political parties and Ghana will make a massive turn around, rescued from the jaws of unbridled corruption and mismanagement. What Ghana does not need is blind party followers like you Abeeku Mensah.

Doc it is a good piece you put up, unfortunately you spoilt the whole thing when you suggested NPP for Mr Martin Amidu.
Infact it's far better to keep NDC than to opt for NPP if corruption was used as a base.

Akuffo Addo has never been president. It's the leader, the president, in this case that makes all the difference. The natural man is corrupt and prone to bad behavior so it's an under statement to say that there are corrupt politicians in all the parties. Corrupt politicians cannot and should not of themselves be expected to fight against corruption. It takes a leader who is immune from corruption and is not in politics to enrich himself to lead the fight against corruption. When the head moves the rest of the body follows. Try Nana and if he disappoints vote him out the next election in 2020. As for Mahama he has already proven himself unworthy for the high office of president. He's either corrupt himself and therefore weakened morally to fight it or he encourages and promotes corruption among his colleagues by looking the other way.
