  It is simply not fair to accuse President Mahama of collapsing the NHIS when you knew very well that when the NPP was leaving the scene the NHIS was at its infant stage. Now the Scheme has grown bigger but the same scanty insurance premium is being collected,no increase in the insurance levy so what do you expect? The scheme is simply under funded and to solve that problem calls for increase in both the insurance premium and levy. But when such a move is made you would be the loudest on this forum to kick against it.
  
  The School Feeding Programme is mainly donor funded and as such you should know that its sustainability would be difficult if the funds are no more coming forth from the donors.The gov't on its own has been trying to keep the Programme afloat with the limited resources, what else do you want the gov't to do?
  
  And who lied to you that the maternal and child care situation in the country was the best during the era of your NPP? Water? some communities which did not see their taps flowing for years now have their taps flowing, more communities are being provided with bore-holes what else?
  Complain of no electricity? The Bui Dam which President Kufuor cut the sod for work to start was completed by the NDC. Today, it is more or less a white- elephant. The other dams are nothing to write home about so if there is electricity shortage, President Mahama is the cause?
  
  It is in fact, abundantly clear, that there are some people who would never appreciate anything done by President Mahama, so long as the party they are sympathetic to is not in power. This is very unfortunate indeed.

  First, Buhari only managed to defeat Jonathan when he (Buhari) formed a broad coalition across ethnic and party lines. Buhari, a Fulani, was able to form an alliance with Obasanjo a Yoruba, and an expresident from the opposition PDP. He convinced millions of non-Fulanis and southerners to believe his message and vote for him. This was how Buhari managed to hoist himself from a mediocre candidate from the previous 3 elections to a winner with a 2 million margin. The question any NPP hopester needs to ask themselves is, is Nana Akufo Addo able to attract any new voters from regions that are not traditionally NPP voting blocs? Does he have a plan to obtain the endorsement of key NDC politicians in the Volta Region, the Northern, Upper East and West, Central, Western and Brong Ahafo regions? What's Akufo Addo's plan to obtain a higher chunk of the Ga and Ewe vote than he obtained in 2012?
  These are questions that any serious NPP leader would ask themselves and take steps to answer satisfactorily. Unless you're a superstitious nutcase or a hewn idiot, forecasting an election win for Akufo Addo just because Buhari won in Nigeria makes absolutely no sense.

  When you have the uneducated masses involved in democracy parties who have no business being in power find themselves at the helm of government you are left with a country that should have been on a full developmental throttle stuck in a perpetual gear they are unsure about thereby culminating in wasted years that we can ill afford.
  The terrain in Nigeria is quite different to what exists here in Ghana, even the mindset of the people vary. For starters, Ghana is a far smaller country therefore locating and neutralising any militant group, like Boko Haram, if they dared stray here, would be far easier for our military.
  Jonathan's party had been in power for close to 20 years and, as if that wasn't enough, the government was riddled with massive corruption that made Ghana's corruption a child's play.
  You don't see anything wrong with certain particular tribes heading almost all institutions, is this what has happened in past governments?
  We have a single crusader who has fought his own party and government to retrieve Ghc51m that was wrongfully paid Woyome with the connivance of the state.
  The government has borrowed more than all previous governments put together yet has very little to show for it. Only countries with a mismanaged economy run to the IMF and that is exactly what we've done.
  Need I say more as to why Mahama is Jonathan?
