  I agree with some of the points you make that we need to see "comprehensive agenda" for young professionals interested in entering politics. I also agree they should be engaged in robust discourse on how to plan to implement their agenda. However, I disagree to limiting this to "powerful and influential would-be parliamentarians". Your criteria should be applied to all, not just to the "powerful" and "influential"

  I heard one of such greedy guys of NPP has been disqualified on the bases of being a stranger in the party. The name is kwadwo Oppong Nkrumah, who couldn't accurately check himself against the number of years of being known in the party if in the first place he deserves to contest or not. Never mind this greedy and willing to make money from politics.

  Why must the future be shaped by the young and upcoming empty heads when the 1966 coup gave us the utopia with milk and honey flowing down streets as promised by the dimwits now called the NPP of which you, Dr. Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe is a proud member? What else could Ghana want with a free and all the liberties to be incompetent, hateful and tribal you fought for to free us from the tyranny of the CPP?
  
  Your argument presupposes those who have come before now were not highly educated and not tribal and partisan enough which I beg to differ. A majority of the people who have led Ghana in the various governments we’ve had have been educated (some with degrees from the Diaspora) but have all shown themselves to be empty headed classroom educated bunch. They have shown and brought greed to new levels and the added trickery of divide and conquer mentality they acquired while they studied and or worked abroad to Ghana; they have taken over political party leadership of intolerance to new heights.
  
  We are screwed in Ghana precisely because of an educated elite class here at home and the simple-minded advise they get from idiots in the Diaspora who wants changes in Ghana they do not intend to live and experience but want Ghana's living to experience. Is it not folly when you, Dr. Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe, and others live comfortably in foreign nations and engage in influence peddling in Ghana’s politics with destructive outcomes? Is it not illegal for foreigners and agents of foreign entities to interfere in American electoral processes? And you and others call what we have in Ghana an exemplary democracy.
