It is not fair for so many non-Northerners to lump all Northerners together and abuse them when someone like murtala mohammed does a silly thing like this.

After all, it is Northerners who are demanding the scalp of the stupid and arrogant fool called murtala mohammed. Northerners are like all people on earth -- some are good and brilliant and great performers. Others like murtala mohammed makes you puke to be identified with them as a Northerner who is minding his own business and may not even be interested in politics..

There are some people who are wild by nature. You can give them paper qualifications but they will never be able to act like educated people. murtala mohammed is one of them. President john Mahama probably took account of his paper qualifications and decided that since he was in possession of good academic certificates, he had a good brain and could serve his nation if given the opportunity. But he has proved the contrary and got the whole world to ask: if a person who has passed through educational institutions can behave like this, then what would he have done if he had never entered one?

President Mahama should learn from this experience. All that glitters is not gold. If you put a mad man in charge, his madness will let him down because you can hold a cork under water only for so many minutes.

President Mahama has brought shame on all Northerners by appointing this fool and watching him tolerantly whilst he has destroyed the image if Northerners. The Northern Chiefs who have petitioned Mahama against murtala are trying to restore a bit of dignity to Northerners. But it is too late. Even if the idiot is fired, we cannot live down the contempt he has brought upon Northerners, especially the way he has opened the door for all Northerners to be attacked by those who don't like Northerners. Oh Mahama, what has the North done to you that makes you disgrace them so??
