Ghanaians sowed the 'SATANIC SEEDS OF XENOPHOBIC HATRED' on the soil of mama Africa in the 60s. That is a fact! Never in the history of mama Africa that you sees your fellow black Africans as 'Aliens'; but thanks to the Ghanaians xenophobic ACO's PRECEDENT, Africans are not only 'DISCRIMINATING' against themselves but are now killings each others. Some Ghanaians are sitting on NIGERIANS STOLEN/CONFISTICATED PROPERTIES. This is an 'OPEN SECRET.' Ghanaians decendants and beneficiaries of that HEINOUS ACO acts would surely continued to have GUILTY CONSCIENCE, (UNTIL THEY MAKE RESTITUTIONS AND PUBLICLY APOLOGISE TO NIGERIAN DESCENDANTS' OF THE VICTIMS OF THE WICKED AND SATANIC ASSHANTI KOFI ABREF BUSIA, ACO).

Danquah and his half-baked intellectual knaves in order to wrestle power from the traditional chiefs argued in the 30s that the chiefs were not representative of the people and they intellectuals have to sit in drivers seat. That way the affectionately dubbed Burns constitution was introduced and elections was held in 1946 with 6 ex-officio,18 elected members and 6 nominees. Guess which path Danquah chose? Yes, your guess is as good as mine. Danquah chose the easiest path i.e. to be nominated to the Legislative Council.

Look I don't know why any of our traditional chiefs today will stand behind Danquah. It was Danquah who in a class struggle for power made it clear they the traditional chiefs were not fit to represent the people of the Gold Coast in the Legislative Council. Danquah was a lazy mind opportunist. Period!

When people were writing that Nkrumah was a dictator, you could have told them the same; paraphrasing your statement: " stop that useless and waste of time nonsense, and just say what will solve our problems". On the contrary, you didn't say anything, either because you believed in those lies and therefore stayed indifferent or you don't have a future plan for your own country since (to you) anything goes whether lies or not. Therefore mere discussion of current issues calms you down.

Come to think of it, do you know the number of crucial discussions that went and still go on in Ghana (most of which can solve our problems outright) that Post-Nkrumah government failed to heed ? I bet you don't know any.There are a lot of them (Dr. Barwumia in our current time also made inputs and what was the results--the current government does not need his advice they say)

I asked myself, why won't any government listen to anyone especially if it comes from their opponent ? The answer--Because of Thwarted political history of Ghana which brings about mistrust and distrust.

In all, I think it's an impatient person who will not want a holistic and scholastic truth of a country's political history be told. And we all know impatience breeds chaos, violence, unintelligent reasoning etc. And that is the CROWN of Nkrumah's Ghana today.

Americans know "shortest possible time" too well. It is equivalent to their version, "with all deliberate speed".

That means that whatever is, it ain't gonna happen unless the powers that be, at that time, decide it is in their best interest. "Don't pay no mind" even if children are dying, even if grown adults and police stand in front of school rooms to prevent poor children from entering to study in the schools built with their parents taxes, etc.

In other words, your comments amount to saying nothing substantial. Remember, there are only a couple of things in this piece that we have not said before and which others had.

Also remember the rest we have said before in other places, if only inferentially or directly. There is nothing we cherry-picked.

In fact, there a lot we have helb back because their inclusion would have meant being repetitive, and because we do not want to make this series longer (just two). We intend to bring other "new" information held back at some later date.

In other instances we left out contextual inquiries because we have explored them before (and many others have done the same)

Please give us your take, a detailed one of course, and allow us the opportunity to defend ourselves!

But for some of us, the enigma is how such a fine scholar evolved to be an Nkrumaist, Probably, when he finally writes his prosopographical defense of Nkrumah's dictatorship, his article will shed some light on this enigma.

Meanwhile, in all fairness to Prof. Kwarteng, Prof. Akurang-Parry should have expatiated further what he means by "bad history" as it refers to this article.

You can also find some of his other published academic works and their critiques. I have read a number a of these. They are historical works I can easily write with no sweat! I am not bragging!

Like I said before, Prof. Akuarang-Parry is a fine scholar but I know how much he weighs. Thus, you SAS should not let your hopes fly high!

I can seriously critique many of Prof. Akurang-Parry academic works with no sweat! This is merely history, not science, mathematics, engineering, or any of those stuff! I mean no disrespect. I am saying as matter of scholarship!

The typical science scholar in Ghana is irrelevant to anything, and I have made it clear several times on this site. And I have also told you several times that your worth is in your writing skills, and the extent of your scholarship here has nothing scientific or mathematical or engineering about it. Without your writing skills and your scholarship in the liberal arts, nobody would know you here, and you would just be one of these stupid monikers daily flaunting their useless science knowledge. Your article, whatever merit it has, is weighed on account of your knowledge in history and proficiency in English. Your studies in science remain redundant and probably a cause for regret, if not outright frustration. I know this from my own experience. And that is why it is possible for Prof. Kwabena Parry to judge you on the historical merits; he is a History scholar of international repute no matter what you think of him. And being able to critique him does not reduce his scholarship in his chosen area. Anybody can critique anybody's work....

I am sure that in all his previous critiques that were favorable to you, you found him to be a great scholar and a gentleman. But like Nkrumah, you cannot stand any unfavorable criticism.

In any case, Prof. Akurang-Parry is among the first writers on Ghanaweb, and I have read many of his essays, including the one you cite above. I have always found him to be a fine scholar and a gentleman. And I never hid my shock that he allowed Akadu Mensema to shack with him and steal his identity. I have also never hidden my amazement that he is an Nkrumaist. Same with you.

As for you, you are an example of one great genius lost in the Nkrumaist maze, and it is possible that the cause is doomed to rescue you out of your intellectual catacomb. But it is your right to remain so entombed: the African hen chooses the place to lay her eggs. One day, if you wake up from your Nkrumaist spell, you can begin to appreciate the horror of your wasted years, and J.B. Danquah will have nothing to do with your situation.

The fact of the matter is that the issues I raised here are well documented primary, secondary, and tertiary sources.

For instance, there a number of theories that try to explain Danquah's involvement ritual murder, but I chose to settle on one here because I have referenced other theories elsewhere and thus there was no need for me to keep going over tired material.

But like I said before, my science, engineering, and mathematical training is what actually makes me get the gist of some of the most complex things Prof. Kofi Kissi Dompere (and hundreds) and other scietinists, engineering, and mathematicians talk about.

For instance, I can take some of his mathematical concepts and understand them well enough to relate them to the deep philosophical concepts he explores. I could not have done that without my my backround. And this is not restricted only to Prof. Dompere's work!

You may not know this but I have had many readers write to me asking whether I have a science, engieering, and mathematical background. They have read that into my writings. Some suggested I minimize some of the mathematical and scientific term and concepts I use in my write-ups! Mostly these are those in the humanities/liberal arts/social science. On the contrary, I have never faced any major problems in the humanities!

And yes, Prof. Akurang-Parry is a fine writer but that does not mean he is the "doyen" of Ghanaian and African history. Beside that, he is one of those scholars I have always looked up to but that is how far it goes.

Put simply, it is so easy picking up any of Prof. Akurang-Parry's published scholarly works (Adu Boahen, etc) and reading it but no so woth Prof. Dompere, say.

Like I said in one of my earlier responses on this forum today, I have read a number of Prof. Akurang-Parry's scholarly publications and, though they do not compare with those on Ghanaweb in terms of scholastic or analytic merit, I can still author any of his published scholarly articles without sweat.

And it is my engineering, scientific, and mathemtical backgrounds that make liberal arts/humanities/social science relatively easy fields to explore. This is not to undermine anyone's intelligence or academic prowess.

And finally, not everyone can successfully do the work of critiquing (this position reverses my contention in the first paragraph). For instance the critic must, in relaive terms, be in possession of knowledge that matches the knowledge level of the subject whose he or she is critiquing. Sometimes the critic must possess superior knowledge!

Wole Soyinka has ocassionally explicitly or implicity remarked that he cannot understand the complexity of Albert Eistein's work. And the reason is simple: Soyinka do not have the expertise Einstein had. Yet Einstein had a knack for reading and explaining some of the most complex literary works of his peers!

More, there was one time Soyinka sarcastically, but truthfully, said while Nobel Laurates in the sciences (medicine, physics, chemistry) were using their brain power to crack difficult problems confronting humanity, he is using his brain power to make an album (Soyinka is a musician, but on the same level as his relative Fela Kuti).

Soyinka realizes that it takes more than English orthography or mere literacy in English to do Einstein's physics ( or Dompere's mathematics). It also explains why Paul Krugman (a social scientist; Nobel Laureate (Economics)) can surprisingly explain the literature of Isaac Assimov and other complicated writes, but ironically those men and women of letters whose works he explains have a problems understaning his mathematics or mathematical economics (econometrics).

Krugman has a way of using mathematical concepts to explore a genre of literature (science fiction, etc) that the average person whose specialty is literature or history will find a hard time doing! The opposite happens but hardly often.

Let me say this again: I am not disrespecting Prof. Akurang-Parry or anybody for that matter. We all have our expertise, strengths and weaknesses. The point is that what many of our historians do are things some of us can easily pick up from books and put own twists of interpretation on them.

In fact, some of the greatest, influential, and magnificent historians I know of (in the world) and whose works I have studied were/are not historians or even trained as historians.

It helps to be trained as one but that is not always a requirement to be an influential or good historian.

And history is essentially about acquiring basic research methodologies (and interpretation). Besides that, one needs to know what a primary document is different from a secondary or tertiary document. And a little bit more!

These are things one can easily pick up from books. But computer programming, astrophysics, engineering, cosmology, and (several branches) of the natural science are not easy to pick up from books. I make these concessions from the standpoint of relativity!

That said, most of the issues I raise in my last article on Danquah have been well argued by scholars from Ghana (Africa), Europe, North America (US, Canada) and a few prominent scholars from Asia. Prof. Akurang-Paryy does not know he has already endorsed many of them! LET ME SAY THAT I HAVE GREAT RESPECT FOR OUR HISTORIANS (Lest I am not misunderstood).

Prof Kludze must have been part of the group who in Form Five and Sixth Form supported Nkrumah’s positive action, some of whom were sacked from Mfantsipim, to become the pioneers of Ghana National College, the same people that Kwame Nkrumah turned on because they protested against his unconstitutional sacking of Chief Justice Sir Arku Korsah!

Of Ghana’s 58.25 years as an independent country, 44.5 years have had leftist politicians, parties and military people in charge. Rightist individuals and parties have only been in charge for the remaining 13.75 years, and it has always been dousing the fires that have been lighted by these incompetent rogues who come in smelly smocks and leave poor tattered Ghana in their Gucci suits and shoes, having discarded their Afro Moses sandals.

For me as a Ghanaian born in rural Ghana, the best of the lot has been Prof Busia’s who with his rural development agenda, eradicated from Ghana guinea worm, bilharzia and cholera (which incidentally has returned with vengeance to our national capital of all places, under another one of those clueless leftists).

Most of you who come to this forum to heap insultson illustrious Ghanaian patriots attended village schools whose swish buildings have become death traps to your nephews and nieces. You have never contributed one stick of chalk to your village schools, not to talk of doing anything worthwhile for Mother Ghana. All you do is cut and paste plagiarism of a grossly distorted history of Ghana!

Now that the youth of another of your leftist-mismanaged African countries are hacking at fellow Ghanaians, why don’t you use your energies to help your clueless friend to better the lot of the youth of Ghana, to prevent them dying in droves in the Mediterranean Sea and South Africa?
