As I said, Nana has not lost his law certificate. Listen real good here. What Nana couldn't find was his membership certificate that made him as a member of Ghana Bar Association but he knew his membership number which is on record. Law certificate is different from membership certificate that makes one a member of a Professional body.

Go and get your facts together before you come here and disgrace yourself.

Couldn't you have given an intelligent excuse as she always says than such a lousy excuse that it got lost?

Clearly, there is no need for Akufo Addo to dwell on this supposedly law certificate. We all know Akufo Addo was a graduate of Legon where he had his Bachelor degree. His mates back then were the late Prez. Atta Mills and room mate Dr. Kwadwo Afari-Gyan. They played hockey and football for the academicals of Legon. These are all raw facts so I do not see the reason why Akufo Addo would want to be an imposter with forgery law certificate.

If Akufo Addo should dare try to retrieve his certificate in which case the Lincoln Inn have all records of past students dating back into the 15th century, it could have grave consequences for Akufo Addo and he knows that. The NPP flagbearer should come clean on this matter. Period!

How dare you say that Nana Akuffo law certificate is a forgery when Lincoln Inn has a record of Akuffo Addo who obtained his certificate the year he got his degree. How could Nana had practiced law in London and France with fake certificate? Be for real and you guys should stop this childish foolishness.

Why don't you ask Kofi Ata, who took this matter up and wrote to Lincoln Inn about this Nana certificate issue and got records showing that Nana indeed has a certificate from the Inn? This is too childish beneath you.

Kpegah Injures Akufo-Addo: He has no classmates and no teachers

Retired Supreme Court Justice, Francis Yaonansu Kpegah has badly injured Nana Akufo-Addo’s reputation with his claim that the ex-New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer was not a qualified lawyer and that he has been impersonating a certain W. E. D. Akufo-Addo.

From Justice Kpegah’s writ, it has been discovered that Mr. Akufo-Addo was born William Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo but not Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

It has also been realized that Mr. Akufo-Addo’s certificates from both “The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple” in the United Kingdom (UK) as well as Ghana’s General Legal Council cannot be traced, therefore are all missing.

Additionally, it has shockingly emerged that Mr. Akufo-Addo, was the only person who was called to the Ghana Bar on Tuesday 8 July 1975 “at a meeting of the General Legal Council held at the Supreme Court, [inside] the Supreme Court Building.

Still none of Mr. Akufo-Addo’s Law School mates or lecturers has owned up to clear the air on his qualification as a lawyer and whether or not he is impersonating someone called W. E. D. Akufo-Addo.

So far, Mr. Akufo-Addo in his defense filed for him by Lawyer Frank Davies produced two vaguely written letters from questionable sources as exhibits merely dismissing Justice Kpegah’s writ at the court, which will be first heard on Tuesday, April 23, this year.

One of the letters was dully signed by a certain E. Bart-Plange Brew, Acting Administrative Secretary on behalf of Secretary to General Legal Council.

The other letter from “The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple” in the United Kingdom (UK) was only signed by an officer who only provided a signature and designation as Under Treasurer – Middle Temple, but failed to give his or her name despite having said that Mr. Akufo-Addo was “specially admitted” to Middle Temple on January 13, 1969 and passed July 22, 1971after passing the English Bar Examination.

Mr. Akufo-Addo’s supposed letter from the Middle Temple looked fictitious as it has no identification in terms of the society’s crest, logo or any identifiable emblem. Indeed, the letter looks forged.

A visit to the website of Middle Temple (www.middletemple.org.uk) reveals the society’s crest to be an oval-shaped crest with a knight of the Templar’s Red Cross with brown borders. It also has a white sheep that is leaning on a flagstaff ending in a cross at the top.

The Herald discovered that the officer in-charge of the Middle Temple society presently to be Master Treasurer, Christopher Symons QC and has his deputy to be Under Treasurer, Catherine Quinn. Strangely none of the two personalities appended his or her signature to the 2007 letter, authenticating it as coming from the Middle Temple.

Meanwhile, sources close to Justice Kpegah have said that Mr. Akufo-Addo as per the attached exhibit, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has openly admitted that ‘he has lost his qualifying and enrolment certificates of the Ghana School of Law’. But has “however surreptitiously, obtained a fiat from the General Legal Council, dated October 16, 2007, to represent the two lost certificates. Is this not intriguing?

“We now have a second Sheikh IC Quaye who is no other than the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party. Justice Kpegah to all intends and purposes has been vindicated! They have also filed an application to dismiss the action against them as frivolous, vexacious, abuse of the process and disclosing no reasonable cause of action”.

The sources went on “the question that arises is: why is Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo running away from defending the substantive matter in the suit which is that, he is not qualified to practice law in Ghana?

“Additionally, the Letter purporting to serve as confirmation of Nana Addo’s enrolment into the Ghana School of Law is dated October 16, 2007. Impliedly, Nana Addo has been without valid qualifying and enrolment certificates per the letter, since 2007.This clearly is an apt representation of fraud of legendary proportions.

“Furthermore, it should be noted that the letter purporting to confirm that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo lost his qualifying and practicing certificates, was signed by one E. Bart-Plange Brew who, was the Acting Administrative Secretary to the General Legal Council at the time, undoubtedly raising serious red flags as to the propriety of the act.

“Nana is resorting rather shamefully to Kangaroo tactics to avoid staging a defence against the action. The Law will however, not admit such trivialities. Please give this an urgent consideration”

I put on record that I have never ever contacted your employer, Nassau Community College of the State University of New York, to lodge a complaint or enquire about you either by phone, e-mail or letter. I do not know what evidence you have to make such damaging allegation against me on Ghanaweb. I also have no idea what is your motive, except to say that it's sole purpose is to discredit and paint me bad on Ghanaweb.

I do remember that on one of your articles which I found to be very racist, I posted a comment and questioned whether your employer was aware that you were using the name of the college to post such racist articles on Ghanaweb. I also warned that if you do not stop posting such racist articles, I will be compelled to make your employer aware of your inappropriate use the their name. That is not something I will deny.

However, I was advised by my very good friend and classmate who is also a lecturer/professor in the US that freedom of speech in the US has a very high bar therefore your articles that I found racist could be acceptable in the US. In fact, I also found out later that you have very close family relations with Ewes that you continuously castigate on Ghanaweb. As a result, I did not find it necessary to complain to your employer. Indeed, had I done so I would have made you aware.

If someone had done so I can assure you that I was not the person. If I did, I would not be sacred to admit it, though I am still of the view that it is unacceptable to use the name of the college where you lecture in your private articles.

I will therefore appreciate if you could kindly find out who complained to your employer and withdraw your allegation against me. I do not even need an apology from you.

Regarding the accusations you made against me in your paragraph four, on my contact with University of Oxford to establish whether Nana Akufo-Addo attended the Oxbridge institution and if so why he omitted it from his profile, I have no regret for doing so because it is one of the most positive things that I have done for Nana Akufo-Addo. Until I made public my Freedom of Information request findings, this problem cropped by every now and then and his political opponents used it against him. Since the publication of my findings, this matter has ceased to a subject for public discourse and is no longer a weapon against him. For this reason, Nana Akufo-Addo and people like you should be grateful to me for bringing an end to this political dispute.

You have not made any objective analysis of the issues I raised in my article that you criticised and therefore I have nothing to add.
