  When I was a child I used to think and act like a child. As a teenager in high school who played the bass guitar by the close of 1960, I had too many people in my life that I called friends. They were just too many, enough to give my oldest brother who tripled as my guardian and a father figure serious concerns. Being old enough to be my father, he had some fatherly counsel for me when he could no longer hide his disapproval . Big bro intimated that my so-called friends were mere hangers on or fair weather friends. I'm a grown up man now and I know big brother did not mince his words about the misnomered friends whom he had rightly called out as phonies.
  Lawrence Appiah-Osei is titled as friend-in-chief of JDM in the USA. How long will Lawrence remain the friend-in-chief of JDM? The test of friendship is just around the corner. In 2017 JDM will no longer be president and Lawrence Appiah-Osei will desert him like a butterfly hopping from one flower to another.That's not a true friend. A true friend sticks around "rain or shine" and is a stickler for the rules of friendship. He tells it as it is. A true JDM friend will not look him in the eye and lie that it's an elephant when he's staring at a goat. "O What A Friend JDM Has In LA-O! ! !
