  Mr. Adofo should do the society good by standing by the truth. In pursuance of the truth, one should be accurate and not allow emotions and other related interest distort facts. The following are worth noting in this case:
  1. The position of Asantehene is not omanhene.'This is recognized in the Chieftaincy Act and guaranteed by the constitution of Ghana.
  2. There are 4 Amanhene in Kumasi- Bantama, Asafo, Akyempim and Adonten.
  3. The Kumasi Division is not headed by Omanhene but Asantehene. The Chieftaincy Act defined chiefs as comprising:
  - Asantehene and Paramount Chiefs
  - Divisional Chiefs
  - Odikro
  4. Clearly the position of Asantehene cannot be Omanhene and above Omanhene. Is unparalleled. Attempts to equate it as Omanhene has failed and will continue to fail.
  5. Chieftaincy are guided by laws. Any aggrieved person should use laid down laws and practices to seek redress.
  6. We have Judicial Committees of Regional and National Houses of Chiefs and the Supreme Court. You can seek redress from here in all matters relating to Chieftaincy.
  7. We need peace. Kumawu also deserve peace. The so called media courts and arena to seek redress and rebuttals is the solution.

  I read Dr London’s account which was intended to refute your assertions, but I must say that it largely supports your version of events. Unless of course there were some explanations for those. I placed my stated curiosity as questions to Dr London’s account.
  
  To address the question of the role of the Aduanahene, Dr London’s ascription or label was refuted by his own account. In his article he stated that among other roles, the Aduanahene is responsible for presenting the Queenmother’s nominee to the state council before he is installed as chief.
  In that role of ensuring that the correct process and protocol are adhered to, it means that the correct role of the Aduanahene is that of a Chief Protocol Officer. It is his duty to ensure that the correct procedure was adhered to from the inception of a reign of a chief up until their demise. Any stinted description of the role of the Aduanahene is therefore incomplete if we go by Dr London’s account.
  
  Secondly the existence of any documentation however it was created cannot be taken as authenticating the lineage of of a non royal into royalty unless it can be proven as being in line with the norms and customs of the Ashanti Kingdom. There were several accounts to suggest that there was a hiatus or gap in the royal line which was filled by the regency which is now found its way into the current dispute.
  
  You were also right in stating that any administration however it existed before, is subject and superseded by the constitution. Any traditional administration does not and cannot impose any restriction which is given as a right by the constitution. No one can be held in servitude by another. However the constitution gives the people the right to practice their customs and traditions except that which is unlawful or recognised as unlawful under the law.
  
  The candid observer can see that there are very high stakes here, mainly based on the issue of appropriation or mis-appropriation of land and other property belonging to the people of Kumawu and the instigation of parties to that effect. If what is recognised under the law is carried out unlawfully it becomes illegal.
  
  
  My advise is this; You have spoken, Dr London has spoken and people are getting the picture. Keep calm, do not insult anyone least of all prominent personalities in the region. The truth has a way of picking its own culprits.
  
  If both you and Dr London keep up the accounts, eventually the full picture will emerge.
  The problem for you is not getting out the truth, but what to do with it.
  
  Even if it should emerge that all that you are saying is the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth, what next?
  
  You have already established that the court system did not entertain your claim, the police and other agencies are in support of your opponents and that the balance of power rests with your adversaries.
  
  How do you swim to the beach if there are sharks between you and the shore? It is not difficult but it takes a lot of guts. Keep it clean Mr Rockson.

  POINT OF CORRECTION:
  Ex-Aduanahene IS NOT, and I repeat, NOT the head of the entire Kumawu Aduana Clan. He was the head of his family alone, a position which was created by Barima Afram to give that banished Odumase faction some form of recognition after they were forever banned from ever occupying the Kumawu stool. Do you remember the last chief from Odumase, Okotere Fenin and the enchanted bull of Asanteman during the Banda war?
