Nana Akufo-Addo is a good candidate just like any one of those past and present who occupied the seat of Ghana's presidency but that is not saying much about Ghana and its politics. Unfortunately, it is people of your kind, Rockson Adofo, who have become slick oil salesmen for Ghana's parade of incompetent leaders enabling the nation to accept mediocrity as a standard and norm. You cannot point to development in the Eastern region, not even in the regional capital city, Koforidua, to bolster the leadership work of Nana Akufo-Addo and his family clan who have reined over the Kyebi people for close to a century.

God does not wait on humans to be perfect angles to save us from ourselves; he works with the worst of us. Nana Akufo-Addo does not have to be president to engage in preferential treatment of Kyebi people to see development come to the Eastern region. His years in politics should have a work product that should be envy of all in politics today. Let him run on those accomplishments in the Eastern region and see how well that flies

1. What is ADAA record in public life at 72 years. My supposition is simple, one does not have to become a president before his contribution can be felt in the life of the people. I dare say that ADAA has no credible record as the NPP propagandists would want us to believe. Papa Kwasi Nduom seems more credible in that regard.
2. ADAA does not appeal to the masses as any of his predecessors. Ghana politics commands huge tribal underpinnings. So far the man failed to convince anyone that he is a unifier who could upset this tribal compartmentalisation.
3. NPP is not a credible alternative. Despite the unbridled propensity to exaggerate JAK/NPP achievements in government, the reality was that the superficial nature of what was the supposed achievements was too real. Additionally, NPP in opposition are unattractive; their politics has been dishonest.
3. Corruption- Ghanaians do not see NPP as a better alternative when it comes to corruption.
4. ADAA has not proven any leadership qualities that would make Ghanaians feel that he is a safer pair of hands to entrust the country.
