A friend just informed me someone has been impersonating me on Ghanaweb.

Whoever is doing this is being mischievous and will not get anywhere with this. I think the same person is impersonating Prof. Lungu and Kojo T.

I have decided not to directly address this impersonator because I am not the only one in the world called Francis Kwarteng.

Decent Ghanaweb readers and columnists know Prof. Lung and myself do not believe in this ethnocentric nonesense.

This will lead nowhere. I will soon find out who this impersonator is. I promise!

to your letter on this forum says it all.Most Ghanaians are not politically mature and therefore are not savy enough to accept other races' as President of our dear nation and respect the office.
Please let us respect whoever occupies that office as the President and stop this childish behaviours and insults.I for example do notgive much credence to what the so-called celebrities say or do.Have we forgotton so soon KKD's blunder?What can these celebrities teach us?

Justice Dansu Norvor,your article is well written and your admonisment to respect the president and presidency is commendable. President Mahamma is a fine gentelman. He is very decorous in his speechs and manners.
I think the reason why some people abuse the president is partly due to his inbility to fix our economic problems especially the ongoing energy crisis. Most Ghanaians are frustrated. And the frustration has reached a crescendo resulting in insults hurled at president Mahamma at the least provocation. It is nothing to do with his personality, background and ethnicity.

Some of his appointees and the exuctives and members of the NDC have also contributed to this situation. Persons like Asiedu Nketia is found of launching scathing personal attacks on people. He and other NDC people like Koku Anyidoho have the penchant for making illogical and ignorant statements and this inturn elicits anger and insults towards the NDC members and the president.

Some of his appointees calibre are very medoicre. Unfortunately, this persons are very rude and arrogant. They are in the habit of insulting,ridiculing and making derogatory statements at perceived opponents.

So much as we all do not want people to insult the president, he must also ensure his appointees, party members always also respect their political opponent and critics of the government. Respect is a two way thing.

May God forgive all of you, the so called prof. Lungu, Kojo T and Frnacis Kwarteng for the unjustifiable insults on a whole tribe for no apparent reasons. It is your right to insult and proclaim your tribes as superior to the Ewes tribes and others tribes. But you know something, this is not going to change what the Ewes are made of, neither is it going to take away their God given wisdom. Am so proud to belong to a tribe that has so much power that,on the mention of Ewe, people panic with seizure, become confused, disoriented,and disorganized. What if president Mahama is an Ewe? There is nothing wrong with such a humble advice which we all must embrace,but looking at some comments here, they never appreciate and take any advice and there is a name for such a group in the book of proverbs. Not only the president who deserves the respect but all our leaders. Even the Bible tells us to show respect to our leaders and elders so that we can have eternal life. It seems some are ignorant of this or intentional ignore such a biblical advice and resort to political comments for the seek of commenting. This isn't an appropriate way forward for ourselves with Godly image of brain to reason beyond other creatures and control the other creature. Irrespective of your height as against your father, you are not co-equal, he deserves some respect from you. Also no matter the wrongdoings of your father, you don't resort to insults to draw his attention to those wrongdoings. Whether you like him or not, he is our president and you must give him the due respect. If he is doing something wrong, there are so many ways to draw his attention and correct him than to resort to non-biblical insults and disrespect.

Yentie Obia, dead goat syndrome, smart companies etc. What goes round comes round. Those of us going through the frustrations will continue to talk. Kudos to Lydia Forson. She does not need to apologise to anyone. Those who pretend not to understand what comprehension and grammar means should go back to Class 1, where I understand the President is still in. Period.
