I've said it before and I will say it again..... if there was ever a government that deserved to be thrown out of office, Mahama's government is the one and it doesn't matter by which means... military coup d'état, civilian uprising, impeachment or mass resignation of the whole government.

It's so unfortunate that military coups are so unpopular these days because of how the western world views itself as the police of copycats of their "democracy" around the world especially in Africa and wouldn't hesitate to tighten the screws on any military adventurism into politics by the imposition of economic sanctions and blockades.

In Ghana's case, the only viable option would have been the military option because using Ghana's constitution to impeach a sitting president would be ineffective because the system does not work because the constitution has been a fraud from day one of its inception.

Secondly, Ghanaians by nature are timidly cowards so borrowing a page from the Burkinese to unseat the government through a grassroot popular civilian uprising is out of the question.

So that leaves us the last option which is the resignation of this failed presidency and its government but this kind of selfless act on the part of a president is based solely on conscience.
For any person who is put in a position of trust to resign from that post, that individual has to have to be in possession of basic human conscience to realize that he is a failure. MAHAMA does NOT possess that simple human attribute.

Lies, lies and more lies are the bane of his existence and as we all know LIARS HAVE NO CONSCIENCE.

So which ever way Ghana turns, she is screwed for good because if per chance Mahama's government and NDC are voted out through the ballots in 2016 and NPP takes over the mantle of leadership of the country, where is the assurance that they would do anything differently than POLITICAL thieves still running amok?

SO GHANA, FOR ALL INTENTS AND PURPOSES IS SCREWED FOR GOOD!!!!!

They came to power to enrich themselves and their family members,giving contracts to their children, selling national assets and pocketing the money.What they are expected to do, they left it undone, and it continues like that. There is no government that will come to power today and immediately solve the energy crisis. That is the truth.But for power hunger,they are all over the place decieving the electorates and have instantly become energy experts.Vote for them and they will tell you that the previous government has made it difficult for them to solve the problems easily. Have you, Dr. Kwaku Danso, read on what drives some in civilized, industrialized western nations to have their homes and or businesses retrofitted with installed solar panel, wind turbines and or thermo-electric energy production systems which helps them to minimize their reliance on electric power from utility companies? It helps save money on monthly electric power bills and helps them save the environment from pollutants from coal and oil burning energy production sources. I would expect candor and intellectual honesty from people of your classroom background instead you choose to stoop the level of ignorance which has contributed to the upsurge in energy usage even as experience production and distribution shortages in Ghana.

I will submit to you, Dr. Danso, that you do more harm to Ghana (do not confuse classroom credentials with wisdom and or intellectual honesty) to submit an article which cowardly assign ill motives to the president of Ghana on this dumsor brouhaha or a political hack lacking the capacity to read to be enlightened on facts. Do you think the President and his party are intentionally refusing to buy needed oil to fuel the production of electricity? Are the President and his inner circle taking power generators and distribution grids offline to create shortfall in supply? Did the current President and his government take office without any outstanding debt on our oil purchases? Can you suggest any government programs in Ghana that should but cut so funding sources could be used to pay off our outstanding debts with our oil suppliers?

The rich folks in Ghana have been nothing but unwise people; they have no foresight, no ideas and or ideals. In a country of this much corrupt practices and businesses the measure of success is not proof of wisdom but of connection to the halls of power. A majority of Ghana businesses got started misappropriating funds from the national government trough as initial capital. The youth, like others, rely on social disorder to sell filth to their fans while promiscuity becomes a norm with our so-called actors, actresses and musicians.

The rich class in Ghana should look into retrofitting their businesses and homes with power production system other than ECG sources of energy; they can have all the time to let us the poor folks know their worth in wisdom and not it brawn.
