All those monuments do indeed carry strong meaning and inspiration for people of Culture who appreciate achievements and want to aspire to the greatest heights.
There is one Monument though that is sadly missing from our collection of historically inspiring icons - THE YAA ASANTEWAH MAUSOLEUM. When it was revealed during the visit of Otumfour Osei Tutu visit to the Seychelles Island recently this QUEEN OF AFRICAN PRIDE is interred on the Island, I made a special appeal to the Otumfour, Manhyia Palace, Asanteman an indeed Ghana Government to retrieve her precious remains back to her land of ANCESTORS and erect a befitting MAUSOLEUM in her honor. I don't know if my humble suggestion is being nurtured or footballed around but your article rekindles my hope for such a project. I believe I do not need to lecture on the Cultural, Economic and Social benefits that would accrue from THE YAA ASANTEWAH MAUSOLEUM and CULTURAL CENTER sited in a serene virgin forest at Ejisu.
From reading your article, I believe Nana Nkunim, you can make this project possible. I may be reached at nymens@juno.com. Ready and willing for NKUNIM.
Good job.
