This show how Ghana has progress. My problem is with the press houses who are not educating themselves on how energy is generated. These guys comment and insult people without any basis.

If you are the one who has "a DEAD GOAT SYNDROME" will any form of protest by any group move you, absolutely the answer is a big NO. I don't blame Abeiku Santana; because of his political aspiration you take positions on national issues and slam your colleague-media men. I don't blame. This is how our politics is. Very sad. The nation needs selfless minds and not leaders

I was in Nigeria in the '90s and power can go off for days. There was no load shedding schedules. Power can go off anytime of the days. when I was living Nigeria in the mid '90s, some parts of Nigeria had no power for months. Nigerians has humorous as they are renamed the Power Authority, Never Expect Power Always (NEPA).
I learnt from my friends and a family member in Nigeria that there is no significant change in the power situation there. We are talking of twenty-five years (as I know), it could be more, of no power supply or prolonged light off in Nigeria. During my stay there, I never heard people insulting the President. Businesses were not closing down because of the power situation. In fact Coca Cola was/is doing well.
Out of the serious erratic power supply, the Nigerian movie industry grew. The Smart Nigerian Celebs find a way to grow their business and flood the Ghanaian market with their movies. The so called Ghanaian Celebs: Vikar, Nelson, Forson and other were employed by Nigerian Film makers.
What do we see here in Ghana. The very Celebs who have spent time shooting movie in the chronic "dumsor" Nigerian country are today vigiling because their business is crumbling because of "dumsor". Please, give us a break. We all know it is politicall.

Shallow minds compare simpletons. How about Germany, USA, UK? Oh, I forgot, you used to be in Nigeria and nowhere else. "Travel and see," they say.

Didier Drogber is constructing 5 hospitals (look 5 hospitals not clinics in Cote D'Ivoir). This is the person I will listen when he comments on issues. Not those who acquire big cars which has no impact on others.

There's some who wanted so bad for entertainers to keep their mouth shut and entertain the Ghanaian so that they're distracted from dumsor.
What this vigil did was expose some of the rot in Ghana that's sustaining dumsor. If you're in a position of power and the best statement you can make that will benefit Ghana is to call someone being critical of you a prostitute - then you're the rot that needs to be removed.
