Why are many surprised or pretentiously surprised? Is it because of the death of the victim, Mahama, the act itself or the perpetrators? Oh how short memories we have in Ghana to have forgotten this quickly that the NPP of today is the birth child of the bomb-throwing, tribal zealots, highly unprincipled and immoral bunch who til this day cannot and will not apologize for the maiming and killing exercises during the CPP era. NPP like the NDC cannot run on either individual records of achievements or community service and or on party record people with brains can buy; they are both good at the use of threats and intimidation. During the CPP era Nkrumah never appointed family members as head of Ghana's Armed forces and or security agencies but the NDC and NPP has normalized nepotism with flair. The dastardly and public killing of Mahama is an act that carries all of NPP trademarks; pretentious hand wringing will not absolve a violent party of its past or present.
