The calculated plot to bring down The Ankaase Dynasty has destroyed Kumawuman. All major developments, stability and peace became possible under The Ankaase Royals. Consider the number of years they occuppy the throne. After Barima Otuo Acheampong, the plot was hatched to bring The Ankaase Dynasty on his knees no matter what, hence dragged young Barima Asumadu-Sakyi to court over 1.5 million cedis. Yes it was a lot of money then, The Infamous Yeateasem folks could have handled differently with The Elders help. Instead they resorted to the courts and in the end spent billions of cedis to line the pockets of lawyers etc. at the expense of development of Kumawuman. What came out of that lengthy litigations?
If the Omanhene spent all his time and money on litigations, do you still expect development? This tells how some of us who profess to love Kumawuman cannot learn from our past mistakes
Mistake #1 : When these Ananangya/Odumase folks who migrated from Assumja to Apemso took the reigns of Apemso from The Original Apemso Royals by force, thereby killing the same people who had welcome them into their midst during the reign of Nana Kofi Siaw.
Their barbaric act invoked GENERATIONAL CURSE on the immigrants. Check their record and if you are fair and insightful in your judgment, you will acknowledge what is the obvious truth: The death of "Kum" tree, the result of which cost Apemso the capital of Ashanti to the then Kwaman, now called Kumasi.

Okotere Fenini (from Odumasefolks) and The Enchasnted bull of Asanteman which caused Asanteman The Banda War; hence The Odumase's were BANNED from ever occupying the paramount stool of Kumawu by The Asanteman Council. It is STILL IN FORCE.

Talk about a family that has been unstable on the stool; plagued with either untimely death, uprising/wars. and even to insanity. We can decide to sweep all that under the rug but we all know same to be true.

The lot that Kumawuman has gone through has to be a bedrock to catapault us for a brighter future. We have a king, BARIMA SARFO TWENEBOA KODUA. Do we really need to resort to that unending court battle? Who in their wildest dream think they can reverse what Almighty God has ordained? Have we learnt a lesson from Yeateasem era? How much more time and money do we need to part with, the end of which will be WIDER DIVIDE, HATRED AND UNDERDEVELOPMENT.
We are moving forward, let us eschew our difference and rally behind BARIMA SARFO TWENEBOA KODUA. With God's help we shall succeed.
