I see the Churches & the Mosques, and other Faith-based organizations forming partnerships with the government of the day to help in developing the country.

It is amazing to see Pastors of today riding in 4x4's and living comfortably out of the sweat of the large congregation they gather. The amazing thing is that they will climb a platform and condemn corruption publicly whilst their own is considered offerings,harvests and name them. The question is where does the huge money they collect every Sunday go????

The church is an offspring of the exploitation of European campaign through out Africa.What did European do? They told us everything we knew and had was evil that we should hand over all to them. Today, those priceless artifacts are in billion dollar museums making money for them in Bruxelles,Paris, London, New York, DC and the VATICAN.
ARE THEY TRULY EVIL?
They told us our form of medicine that we knew for over 180,000 years before the white man appeared on this earth is not good so we should throw it away for theirs at higher price that had made us sicker as most could not afford.

Take a look at the POOR PASTOR, he was very poor with some or NO EDUCATION but he's able to get your attention like the white man did, put fear in you to leave everything you knew behind and tells you to learn from him and give him all your sweat like the colonial master. Then like the colonial master, he's getting better in material comfort and nothing seems working for you. He keeps telling you your faith is not strong enough so you must give more, and the more you give, the richer he become.
He tells you his faith in God is the reasons why he's been blessed with wealth but the truth as been evident in the way the COLONIALIST had played us as studied by the preachers is our own WEALTH plus SLAVERY is what had made the white man.
The whites are NOT SMART but CLEAVER WITH CON GAMES.
When the Brahman came upon the darker people of India, they took over their spiritualism through conquest and introduced their language as sanskrit, banned the darker race from writing, and structured the society into CAST SYSTEM where the majority black race became the slaves and the untouchables to serve the lighter albinos who now became a huge colony with NO SPIRITUAL CONSCIOUSNESS So they killed and killed. With their wealth thru slavery, they proved to the new generation of the darker race that it is their believe in the god and spiritualism- that they have turned up side down- is what will get them riches like them or worst, die go thru Karma. But the truth of this new wealth is nothing but thru brutal slavery the white Indians had perpetrated on the majority darker race.
European minority race would learn this trick 2,000 years latter from the Aryans from the Himalayas.
This minority had found a way to contact a majority darker race and took over their spiritualism thru the council of NICEA in 230 AD and instituted white minority supremacy and slavery. The brutal slavery and theft had made them rich beyond believe and they'd tell you thru their spiritualism (FAKE ONE at best) that is up side down is what will make you wealthy but again like their minority Indian brothers, the game is NOTHING BUT slavery by fear and brutality.
The game has been the same with African PASTORS. FEAR and INTIMIDATION keep the masses right there to be milked and when they complain about things are tough, they tell them to pay more to God to be blessed and "increase your faith".
The IMF/WB do the same. A bleeding nation is asked to have more faith in "democracy" -(FAITH)
and asked to sell its properties ( Ghana Telecom, Bonsai tyre, BLACK STAR LINE ect,ect,) - (COLLECTION). After doing that the country still remain poor, AGAIN ALL DUE TO GATE KEEPERS - the EURO-TRAINED POLITRISTERS.
The game is to paint a mirage to you and the closer you reach to the mirage, the further the mirage gets away from you prompting you to do more to reach it.

In your second paragraph you claim - "Then again, one may ask – especially if that person is not a Ghanaian or doesn’t live in Ghana – why I’m attempting to connect the church with an issue which shouldn’t under normal circumstances be associated with it in any way".
However history and experience tell us that the christian church is "normally" the bastion of corruption and theft through the 2000 years of its existence. From the early churches of St Paul where their members were threatened with the "end of the world" to make them sell off their property and give all to the church or die if they refused , to the catholic churches creation of purgatory as a way of raising funds to build the vatican, to the most recent times when for example pastor Creflo Dollar asks his congregation to buy him a 65 million dollar private jet to spread the gospel with.
The christian church is not as you claim a stranger to corruption, it is corruption itself. By claiming that the church is not usually associated with corruption is an act of corruption in itself because you are concealing a truth and a historical fact -ie the church is corruption- which is a disservice to your readers and denies them the truth of the church and its corrupt nature which makes the conversations around this topic incomplete.

The evil vatican for the fear of pastors/fathers passing on their properties to their wives and children, had made it a crime for them to get marry and have wife/wives.
