Forensic audit from 2009 will reveal massive stealing of the public funds. Sack the MD and dissolve the board. They are simply incompetent and corrupt. Steve Kpordzih inherited a highly capitalized adb ranking 5th in the industry and has run down the bank to an unacceptable rank of 28th in 2014. adb has not met the capital adequacy ration in the last 3 years and living on overnight borrowing of Ghc100million a day for the last 9 months????. The non performing loans of Ghc600million=99% cronies and non agric activities. The bane of adb is incompetent and unprofessional Board, MD and management team. The MD, Steve Kpordzih lack the skills to turn around the bank to meet its core mandate. Prior to the appointment of Steve Kpordzih who has not managed a bank not even a savings and loans institution, he was dismissed as a credit officer at Stanbic for non performing. All the loans he approved went uncollected and bad. At adb the non performing loans=Ghc600million to board members and cronies without any business acumen. Steve Kpordzih appointed cronies to head various dept. and units without the requisite skills and knowledge of e-banking. From Chief Audit Executive, Executive Head Finance, Executive Head Credit, Retail, Treasury, Rigour, Remittances to Executive Head Human Resources were filled with MD's friends, family and cronies with no track record in banking. The Executive Head Human Resource has experience in hotel management. Her last work experience was at Holiday Inn. How could such a person assist board and management in running a bank? The Executive Head-Retail was appointed with just 4 years to go on retirement? How can you achieve any meaning results from such management team??? The board have compromised themselves by taking huge loans and have turned blind eyes on the naked stealing and non performing MD.
