In any civilised jurisdiction, when 6 out of the ten regions that constitute a political party have passed a "note of no confidence" in an executive, what else would be there to hang on to?

Those behind the so-called Agenda 2020 must be the most stupid group of people living in Ghana today. Do those people honestly believe that just by working for the defeat of their own party in 2016, the mass of the people of Ghana will embrace them in 2020?

It is not surprising that the people behind the group are just a bunch of political lightweights, people who have no achievements whatsoever to point anyone to. What a bunch of jokers!

Neither your initial advice, nor this follow-up coercion truly bodes well for the NPP or the Country or Kwabena Agyapong's own mission.

First, you began your advice to Kwabena with insults at him, and branded him arrogant. If you were, truly, any fatherly to him as you claim, especially, because you mentioned being a family friend of his, you would have reached Kwabena in private to confer with him to find out what he has been really doing, and why he does what he does, at his new duties in NPP. If that is how you go about counseling your own children, then you are a lousy father. Like many culturally spoiled brats of fathers, (who says only children could be spoiled?), you defer to our Traditions to impose irrationally on the younger folks, shamelessly covering up wrong-doing of an older member of the Society. Surely, we are not expected to abandon our Culture. But such is an aspect of our Culture that needs to change for the better. We have to embrace the young being assertive and demanding respect back from the elderly. That is not arrogance. That is self-assurance, equanimity, and courageous forthrightness.

Meanwhile, you have not identified one instance of arrogance that Kwabena has exhibited to anyone or the Party he is serving, other than
speculating on what others have been whining about most farcically.

You belong to the Akufo-Addo- obsessed 'Fan Club' that can't think of anything or anyone of more substance and better leadership skills than he has. So, you react ferociously hatefully to anything you perceive as inimical to Akufo-Addo's lifelong ambition to become a President. Any constructive criticism you find ways to paint it as grossly despicable and unacceptable.

Hence, your sharing in the mistaken assumption that Kwabena Agyapong and Afoko have an agenda to cause Nana's failure. Nana's camp riled his Supporters, and a few others hoping to have Mahama's NDC replaced in Government for some respite rush to demand Kwabena's head because they lied that Kwabena and Afoko are trying to derail Nana's campaign.

It is so immature and crude that folks like you claiming to be ardent NPP members or sypathizers would carry into the post-Primary politics the dark, vindictive hostilities you bore Alan Kyeremateng and anyone that associated with him in the pre-Primary era.

It is your insecurities and paranoia that have been spurring you to antagonize Kwabena and Afoko since they assumed Office at the helm of NPP's Administration.

Kwabena has not done anything to deserve your scolding, or faked fatherly advice. Give us one instance of his impudence or disrespectful attitude towards Akufo-Addo? Or, any unconstitutional or ethical faux-pas he has committed to deserve the mob assault you and your cohorts have been mountain against him and Afoko?

It is only those blinded by the obsession you have with Akufo-Addo that would not admit that Nana's camp has, since the election of Kwabena and Afoko to their Administrative roles in NPP, been seeking to get rid of them, and out of Nana's way.

You have been operating under the wild assumption that because Kwabena and Afoko supported Alan in the Primaries, they would automatically work against Akufo-Addo to thwart his Presidential aspirations. Hence, the incessant plots and vicious attacks on the two.

While the two have been enduring your diabolic onslaughts, Nana simply sat aloof behind the curtains, enjoying the deepening antagonism and threats against their lives. If you were any fatherly to Kwabena, wouldn't you have intervened much earlier on to establish his real motives and help defend him?

As a Secretary-General of the Party, Kwabena bore the entire Party and the Nation the obligation to be fair-minded and most proficient at his duties. He wouldn't cut corners to satiate anyone's selfish interests that ultimately bankrupt the Party and its principal objectives.

You mistakened the very early attempts by the two to assemble appointed Officials that they could most effectively work with as some efforts of theirs to derail Nana's Presidency bid, the one most important mission the Party had voted the two to accomplish. And in reaction, you sent your thugs with machetes to go butcher them. Where was your fatherly advice then, Rockson?

Consistently and persistently, Akufo-Addo's camp have been reading more into the actions and inactions of the two than fairly reflect their real intentions. You have been second-guessing them and pre-empting them erroneously to the point of disrupting their routine Official duties.

Why wouldn't Kwabena object to such treatment, knowing he has no intention to sabotage Akufo-Addo's campaign? He and Afoko have been denigrated, demonized and pilloried for no particular inimical action of theirs. All that Nana and his minions, like you, have been doing is wildly assumming the worst about them, and setting them up for needless confrontation that might have cumulated in the death of an innocent other Official, Mahama Adams.

Still, you ain't satisfied and want more of Kwabena's blood. And when he reacts to defend his integrity and life, you have the audacity to call him arrogant?

If you want to see a living full specimen of an embodiment of arrogance, do not look beyond Akufo-Addo. No one surpasses that near-octagenarian in such megalomaniacal display of fluff. Look within your own circles. And you would see an overabundance of conceit as depicted in Okoampa-Ahoofe,Jr., Gabby Otchere-Darko and Ken Ofori-Atta, to name a few in your camp.

Rockson, you have yourself exhibited similar traits to no small measure, which is why you may not recognize that flaw in your immediate vicinity you share with Akufo-Addo.

Would you, for instance, call your seemingly endless assault on the Otumfuor Osei Tutu on the Kumawu Chieftaincy issue as any humble, respectful interaction?

Respect goes both ways, Sir. If you and your insidious, hooliganistic, thuggish 'Action Troopers' left Kwabena and Afoko alone, we wouldn't be facing this sordid debacle, now.

So, get off your pseudo-majestic horse and be real in seeking Peace for the NPP, and stop hounding Kwabena Agyapong. For, if you were any good guardian looking after him upon the demise of his father, whom you claim was your friend, you would be more protective of him than caustically reprimanding him for nothing he has done.

"Ampa Agya bi wu a, Agya bi te se. Nanso wo nnye saa Agya no a ote ase a Kwabena tumi de n'ani to no so". You ain't that living father he could count on for any good advice. You have betrayed his trust.

Kwabena would be better off relying on the likes of President Kufuor for any advice. Not you.
