The NPP leadership are well-known pretenders and deceivers, especially in the way and manner in which they use Christianity and the Bible to fool the Ghanaian populace. They’ve consistently projected themselves as faithful, loving Christians who have every Ghanaian’s interests and progress at heart, yet they’re among the worst hypocrites of all.

Before Prof. Kofi Abrefa Busia became Prime Minister in 1969, the National Liberation Council appointed him Chairman of the National Commission for Civic Education (which he misused as as a political platform to win the election for the Progress Party (PP) to become Prime Minister). Prior to the elections, Busia and Lt.-Gen. A. A. Afrifa would move from church to church on Sundays where the latter would read the Bible lessons and the former would preach the sermons. In all this, they presented themselves as faithful and benevolent Christians who would lead Ghanaians to paradise and who therefore should be trusted. (At that time, most Ghanaians didn’t know that they were those who actually collaborated with the American CIA that engineered Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s overthrow, not to mention their bomb throwing exploits at CPP political rallies and their many attempts to assassinate President Nkrumah). But just recall what they did when they were entrusted with power. The PP, which has metamorphosed into today’s NPP, hasn’t changed. They talk a lot about prayer and fasting, behaving as true and passionate Christians, but their hearts are far from God. They’re the most corrupt party in Ghana. So, Ghanaians beware!

We will not have Papa Doc and his Tonton Macout rule us. I despised Rawlings because his Commandos who were only beholden to him. Who employs, pays and controls the Invisibles outside the party structures. If they can lock out their Party Chairman and General Secretary, then visibly they are not under the party and subject to its condtitution and structures. What kind of chaotic leadership sre we being offered in oppostion. All brain and less brain. I am ashamed.

From where I sit and observe , some thousands of miles from our shores, I cannot fathom why the 'multitude' has failed to catch on to the manipulations/orchestrations, which they are being fed. Even more puzzling ,is the fact that many in the diaspora, not directly affected by the ineffectual leadership of the current administration, have also fallen prey to this "hegemonic sway", making the take out air time to add their voices to the 'Agenda_2020' nonsense, and to back the call for the 'crucifixion' of all dissenters!
What is taking place in the NPP, makes Chairman Mao`s purge in the Chinese Communist Party, pale in comparison. For one thing, Chairman Mao never concealed his real motives, and never embarked on a "wanton dissipation of essential strength and resources". And in the case of the NPP, I will point out that the resources are non-existent!
True, the Osono Party needs lots of prayers to exorcize all the 'demons' that have taken hold of it.
