Instead, he seems to be pile-driving a wedge into an already widening chasm between the factions. Prof Ahoofe should rather call on Dr Ephson to name the Minister supposedly fired by President Kufour. Is President Kufour that daft to have told somebody I am firing you because you are baking Akuffo-Addo? For all you know Dr Ephson may be making up stuff and the Ex-President does not have to answer to somebody else's lies.

This mischievous 'Goebbels' of Akufo-Addo's won't stop his blatantly mendacious, scandalous propaganda and insults against Manhyia and ex-President Kufuor to allow the NPP restore any Peace and order in the Party to strongly contest the 2016 Elections.

If Okoampa-Ahoofe, Jr. and his grotesquely arrogant, mudslinging liars don't stop their senseless assaults on ex-President Kufuor and fellow Ashanti leaders of NPP, they must prepare to lose the 2016 Elections for Akufo-Addo, even as the NPP Parliamentarians are voted en masse to win majority control of the Parliament.

It is not only getting ridiculously self-injurious to the Akufo-Addo faction of NPP, but also intolerably offensive to the character and integrity of the other NPP leaders from Ashanti that the bigoted Okoampa-Ahoofe, Jr. have chosen to malign for so long.

Enough is enough! This intractably paranoid schizophrenic and Kwaebibirim rabid weasel of a Professor simply cannot calm his psychotic squally nerves but always has to find someone to spew his horrifying tirade on. What kind of person is this guy, really? He is so rapaciously virulent at almost everyone that he seems to need to antagonize someone every moment to survive.

In this very crucial period of trying to gather the shredded strands of NPP's leadership together, why would he grope so widely and deeply to injure the chances of NPP's recovery?

There is no doubt that Akufo-Addo has some vital, active close links with this guy in his Presidential bid beyond their familial relationship, and Nana ought to be aware of the many instances the Professor has muddied the waters for the NPP Flagbearer. So, one may ask why Akufo-Addo hasn't reined him in all this time?

For the umpteenth time, this Professor is on course to derail Nana's Presidential bid, and turn around to blame Alan and President Kufuor for that failure. You do not bite the hands that feed you. If Nana needs the votes in Ashanti Region to win the Election, he better take charge to lead his cohorts to respect, appease and encourage President Kufuor, the Otumfuor (and Manhyia as a whole), and other leaders in Ashanti whose influence on voters run deep in the Region.

When the late Asantehene, Prempeh II, offered an olive branch to Nkrumah to restore Peace in Ashanti for normal Partisan Politics to proceed without the violence, he did so with the utmost interest of his subjects in mind. He did not do so to undermine any Akan unified objective.

Prempeh II did NOT BETRAY any alliance with Okyeman as the rancorous Professor would like readers to believe. Meawhile, Akyem Royals from the same Palace the Professor is courting Public sympathy for as having been betrayed by the Asantehene had, on their own volition, joined Nkrumah's CPP and earned themselves Cabinet appointments. Why don't we hear the Professor toss them out into his garbage can of denigration? Aaron Eugene Kofi Asante Ofori Atta, who was the Speaker of the Parliament until the Coup that toppled Nkrumah was a member of Nkrumah's CPP and had served in various Cabinet positions. He happened to be Akufo-Addo's Uncle. Dr. Jones Ofori Atta, who also served as the Communications Minister of Nkrumah's Regime, was also another Royal of the Okyeman and from the same family as Aaron.

So, why doesn't Okoampa-Ahoofe, Jr. devote some of his 'professorial' denunciation and deprecation to these folks, too, for having abandoned the all sacrosanct, omniscient philosophy and Partisan affiliation of the UP/NLM and J. B. Danquah's that he identifies with Okyeman?

It is most unbecoming of the Professor to question the wisdom behind Prempeh II's capitulation of hostilities with the reigning Administration of his time to ensure his Region and subjects are not left out of any sharing of the National cake, while the Professor remains mum over similar behavior of his relatives in Akyem.

The Ofori Atta's, like the Asantehene, were astute enough to widen their areas of influence to court into their respective areas developmental infrastructure that many believe were being apportioned with some priority to areas sympathetic to the ruling Government. So, apart from the greater wisdom of seeking Peace for the entire Nation as the Prempeh II did, there were other reasons beyond the Professor's comprehension, it seems, why the Asantehene withdrew any antagonism towards Nkrumah.

In the end, Ashanti did not have much to regret for that political adjustment. The proportion of Ashantis in the CPP leadership even grew from that point on till the Coup descended upon us.

We should also critically denounce the Professor's hallucinatory conjecturing that President Kufuor has always denied Akufo-Addo any chance to become the Nation's President. In fact, the President didn't, single-handedly, carry the vote that would put Akufo-Addo on the Presidential throne. Akufo-Addo, himself, vouched for the President that he got the former Head of State's help in his previous campaigns. So, what in the World is the Professor maliciously selling such lies about the President for?

The Professor is one of the main sources of the current misguided notions that led to Kennedy Agyapong's wild allegation that President Kufuor was also behind the murder of Mahama Adams. An allegation that has the potential to permanently dent Akufo-Addo's Presidential quest.

All discerning, Peace-loving and truly patriotic Ghanaians should not falter or relent in rejecting this crude, primitive, insincere, undeserving maligning of the Ashanti leadership in Ghanaian Politics by this dangerous parochially-minded, bigoted Professor.

He should be reminded that never has the Okyeman been equated in might to the Asante Kingdom, if that kind of comparison is what he wants to deal in to claim any right to Ghana's Presidency. But most importantly, most Ghanaians do not dwell on those ancient glories to choose contemporary Political leaders. We understand and wish to keep the secular system we have and improve on it. We will not allow the Professor and his evil ilk sneak into the system any aristocratic impositions on us. We do not owe any ancient Kingdom special privileges in exercising our basic democratic rights. And oh, by the way, Adu Boahen wasn't any greater than a History Author whose work wasn't without errors. He was as human and important as we see all other NPP leaders. He was not even a founder of the Party.

But before I expose you for what you are I refer you to an interview sometime last week between Donald Rumsfeld, Defense secretary under Bush II administration, and the London Times in which he admits the folly of people who believe there is wisdom and chance of success in the transplant of democracy unto other nations of differing cultures, values and economic systems.

In the second paragraph of your post you hold Nkrumah in disdain and contempt for abrogation of Westminter system of accountable governance; a sign that relegate your own derived intellect and reasoning to second class status if not sanctioned by the puritans who graded your paperwork throughout your education. Nkrumah chose to fashion a system of government based on his review and experiences with the British, American socialist and communist systems for which you deem to be aberrant. You and other believe in your own intellectual inferiority; Nkrumah believed in his intellectual capacity and competence. It’s about time your exercise in history rewrites of or on Ghana took a turn for logical processing based on equal footing of Africans and other nationalities and or races.
