  not agree more with the author of this article.This act of bribing has seeped into the Ghanaian election all the way to the Presidential and general elections,where Chiefs and Traditional leaders are bribed with farming equipment and monies to ensure their citizens vote for a particular politician enblock.
  Where is the outrage and the concerned citizens?

  If the head does it why the won't the tail do it? At the last npp presidential primaries what didn't Nana Akuffo do win the delegates, like giving 600,000 cdis or so but no one cared? But he would be saying he's never corrupt ...

  That is why our parliament is weak. I can only select just about 50 of them as astute. The rest are 'sankwas'.

  If we're really serious about stopping this cancer of bribing our way into political power, let's do away with the delegates only selection. Open the gates for all party card bearing members to vote for their respective reps. ...

Open the gates for all party card bearing members to vote for their respective reps. Even Paul Gates will find it impractical and super expensive to try that nonsense.
