So why is the FBI investigating FIFA an international organization? This is all GFA President Kwesi Nyantekyi is saying, if FIFA is corrupt it is up to its Federation members to investigate and take action and not an organ of the United States designed to handle its internal affairs.

As for the Nyantekyi detractors I say the man has done more for Ghana football in recent years that all his predecesors combined. Ghana made it to the World Cup for the first time under his leadership. Ghana won the U20 World cup for the first time under his leadership. Africans have to learn to respect and cherish the accomplishments of their elected officials. If they are not doing a good job then vote them out of office.

Leave Nyantekyi alone to do what he does best, if he makes mistakes which all humans are prone to do every now and again. Point them out without trying to cover up his accomplishments and destroy his legacy.

The FBI is for domestic United States law enforcement and has no jurisdiction over FIFA.

His concocted dubious Coefficient Theory and obvious Financial malfeasance was enough ground to warrant straight dismissal by Government.If that is not possible because of the albatross of government non-interference deployed by the corrupt FIFA to insulate itself and affiliates then government should have championed for his impeachment albeit extreme difficulties.I talk about extreme difficulties in impeaching Nyantakyi because he is the mafia boss running a mafia executive who are unlikely to pass a vote of no confidence on him.The government however have the option of instituting a legal process against the corrupt Nyantakyi using the law courts and legislative body like parliament to throw this obvious thief out of Ghana Football.Some people are grand opportunists and are very good at taking advantage of low hanging fruits.People like Nyantakyi know there is a lot of money in football and go in there to make money rather than contribute their quota to the development of the beautiful game which has become a national culture and passion.People talk about Nyantakyi being the only FA president to qualify the Black Stars for the world cup.It does not make sense because all his attention and priority is on the Black Stars to the detriment of total success of Ghana's football.There is no reason why the Black Stars should not qualify for the world cup if given the necessary attention and support because this Country abound in so much natural football talent.That Black Stars is Nyantakyi and Nyantakyi Black Stars is undoubtedly true.Nyantakyi was smart to create a symbiotic relationship with him coming out the greatest beneficiary in mutual benefit arrangement.The man used the Black Stars and its world cup exploits in particular to create wealth and power for himself.He has become immensely rich through corrupt deals and one of the powerful men in world football at least at the level of African Football.It is about time we encourage our old footballers take part in active management of the Country's football.We need more retired footballers at GFA who genuinely have the development of the game in the Country at heart.Great Stars like Abedi Pele,Abdul Razak,Mohammed Polo,Anthony Yeboah,Reverend Osei Kofi should be given mandatory roles in the GFA to salvage and develop Ghana Football.The Zambian FA made major gains in Football including winning the AFCON when Kalusha Bwalya was made the President.In Ghana some mere opportunistic pedesetrians have gang up to ostracize and push these retired footballers whose experience will have come to bare in the development of the game to the periphery.Ghana's football is bigger than merely focusing on the Black Stars for purely parochial and selfish gains.It is now obvious why Nyantakyi had been so glued to the Black Stars in his one-way management of football affairs of this Country.It is simply targeted at using the Black Stars as conduit to enrich himself through corrupt deals and promoting himself to the echelons of football administration zenith. Public Officers like him enjoy a field day without accountability because public institutions in Ghana are suffering from leadership paralysis marred with endemic corruption,laziness,indiscipline,moral decadence,incompetence,impunity,power drunkenness,dirty politics and nepotism.The system is generally opaque replete with massive rot allowing white collar criminals like him to easily thrive under the circumstance.
