  I doff my hat for Amenga for the bold stance he has taken to call a spade a spade in the face of the mass stigmatization of the WAEC. What is even more amazing is that during the test preparation stages where only the staff of WAEC and a few trusted non-staff examiners are involved, THERE ARE NO LEAKAGES; during the question paper printing stage where WAEC staff do the supervision, THERE ARE NO LEAKAGES; during packing/packaging of the question papers by WAEC staff, NO LEAKAGES OCCUR; during the conveyance of the question paper to the regions WE DO NOT HEAR OF ANY LEAKAGES but as soon as the teachers, provided by the Education Service and the Police, provided by the government take over custody of these papers then 'boom'! there is massive leakage; and when that happens guess who calls for heads to roll in WAEC. It is the Teachers and Teacher's groups. Sadly, whenever the perpetrators of Examination leakages, which invariably turns out to be a syndicate of Teachers and Police officers are caught, the cases never go to court. What an Animal Farm !!

  Sa Cut you have hit the nail on the head. Every body cries WAEC yet we cheat at our workplaces. What happened during the recent npp elections when there was cheating.
  What about the teachers who charge to teach children exam questions.
  If it were people from Mankarigu complaining it will be fair. Rather the cheats in Accra led by Nagrat are crying foul.
  Are we teaching the children to only pass exams. Then after that they can not construct any meaningful sentence in English.
  A nation of cheats does not beget honest organizations.
  Waec welcome on board. The police, the politicians, football administrators have blazed the trail.
  Most of those complaining are corrupt to the core.
  Do you think it is fair to be corrupt yet expect your neighbour to be honest.
  Like SaCut said all those involved are our relations and do not come from Jupiter.
  Let us all be honest or we institutionalize corruption. We can't have it both ways. Either we are with the devil or with God. Period

  And lectures are part of the problem why students will go at length to obtain leak papers. Awarding marks to students who don't deserve it. Excellent students not only the ones who get As in examination. If we acknowledge students who do not obtain the As but contribute in one way or the other to studies then everyone will feel motivate and not cheated.
