F.K. , you have more than enough made your point that ".. President Harry S. Truman never made that statement."
Statements like " . Baidoo was so irredeemably ensnared in his self-concocted web of delusion ". "Pooly formulated arguments, analytic errors, and questionable assumptions..."
".Baidoo could not distinguish between a summary and a verbatim quote!" Clearly are put downs intended to humiliate P. K. Baidoo Jr.
I see assertions like " fraudulent attributions and poorly structured as well as logically flawed arguments...wrongheaded pretensions at historicism...and intellectually anemic at best" as overkill calculated to embarrass P K. At a time when we all need to pull together to try to solve our nation's multitude of challenges.
In you next write up, as you indicated in your "We shall return..." ending,.
Kwarteng, let us learn from President Harry S Truman's speech:
OUR PEOPLE ARE UNITED ...THEY HAVE COME TO A REALIAZATION OF THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES.
Are we ready in Ghana or in Africa to assume the role of leadership, or we are hellbent on putting each other down?

To be a leader in todays world requires an immeasurable degree of commitment and sacrifice. 'Put downs' are nothing more than euphemisms that become part and parcel of the landscape. Intellectuals don't really put down. That would be the mud slingers objective and nobody wins. If Ghana or the people of Africa are to assume leadership in a world dominated by imperialism, what would that Africa look like? I traveled through Africa for a number of months, very far removed from pre justices and the people I encountered were a people of kindred spirit. That to me is infinitely more valuable then the inner meanings of a speech by Harry Truman or any other US president and still we live so powerless?

In the real world, nobody who has got his marbles intact, drinks with his sworn enemies. You sound so ridiculous. Are you for a hazy moment suggesting for example that Nkrumah didn't try hard enough to solicit the interest of characters like Danquah and co? In the end what happened?
All leaders and peoples in history who could not vividly distinguish their enemies and treat them as such, were in the end, exterminated, enslaved, colonized or had their lands taken away from them.
After 600 odd years under the worse forms of human tyranny in return for our tolerant attitude towards our oppressors, it puzzles me that there are still Africans who think that they can get anywhere by dining with the devil.

Dear Marcus,
Good day.
You already know I am very accommodating. The point is that I don't entertain liars like Baidoo.
And you also know Africa can no longer entertain liars like Baidoo. It is the likes of Baidoo who are destroying Africa.
Thus I agree with everything Shabi has said on this forum.
Marcus, you already have read as well as pointed out some of the lies and factual misrepresentations in Baidoo's series to know where I am coming from.
Look at the case of Paul Ehrlich (ours) and Paul Ralph Ehrlich (Baidoo's) for instance. It is such lies that local interests of Western interests peddled to get rid of Africa's most visionary personalities. Baidoo is a good example of this.
My problem is that Baidoo does not seem to have a clue of the committment he has set for himself. Most readers who have commented on his articles know this, having pointed out his misrepresentations, lies, misparaphrasings, analytic errors, misaatribution(s), and purposefully quoting authors out of context.
Why should such a Machiavellian character be allowed to continue to lie? Well I have one more formal statement (Part 2 on Noam Chomsky) to make before ignoring him for good.
I don't think he is worth anybody's intellectual investment. More so, I have to formally say one of two words about Baidoo's diabolic agenda so that some of my readers may know what the man is for.
I think Shabi has spoken a lot on my behalf.
Have a great weekend.
Thanks.

Leadership necessarily includes the need to distinguish those who are prepared to 'tag along' to the next stage or those who, without any sense of guilt or shame, are hell-bent on undermining the struggle at every stage for a mess of postage.
Personally I also doubt the revolutionary sincerity of those who are prepared to sympathize with the foibles of our enemies.
If exposing and isolating our historical enemies and their foreign mentors and collaborators for what they are, is too much for some of you, I suggest you think again.
Kwame Nkrumah himself made the humongous faux pas of treading softly-softly with such scum. This gave them the necessary fillip to become fearless, confident and to procreate in greater numbers for an evil cause. In the end, a sizable number of members if his own cabinet were actively or passively drawn into the scheme to either kill him or overthrow him.
For your information, Mr. Ampadu, the word over-kill does not apply in the fight against terrorists and subvertionists.

You are beating your chests over what is a fairly common technical glitch on a Ghanaweb page.
The essay you reference addressed a false and illogical supposition that NLC-NLM-UP-Danquah-Busia-Confederates have been selling for a long time to Ghanaians.
And so, after one Danquah-Busia-Confederates reader finished reading the essay, they asked to change the topic!
Just so you know, and for your information, that essay, in its final form, is available at www.ghanahero.com/Visions.html, under " Kwame Botwe-Asamoah, PhD. says..........
Have fun on those pages ----some "BENEFIT" for your Danquah-Busia-Confederate cohort kind, from www.GhanaHero.com! Have more fun, and even take time to listen to the songs, for your "ideation," the superior kind.

I have just re-read the piece when I saw Prof. Lungu's comments this morning. It is beautifully laid out there without the glitches we usually associate with Ghanaweb and other websites.
You don't have to blame for your for that. I did not have any problems with the piece because I knew what it was all about. In fact, there were other discerning readers who perfectly understood the piece too.
On Modernghana two readers wrote the following after reading Dr. Botwe-Asamoah's piece (I have also discussed the piece with so many people from different backgrounds. And you don't want to know who these people are):
Prof A. B. Akosa | 7/2/2015 2:09:00 PM
"What a wonderful exposition by Kwame Botwe-Asamoah. Let the truth be told after so many years of lies, lies and yet more lies. We suffered years of academic dishonesty from people who should know but will peddle falsehood. It is dangerous to have been there but refuse to acknowledge the truth. I have always asked that the Historical Society of Ghana be commissioned to write the definitive Ghana's political history rather them the make-shift ones that are on the market preaching falsehood. Congratulations Sir, you have made my day and week, and month and year."
Samuel Ocran | 7/3/2015 11:20:00 AM
"My Brother May the Lord Bless you and your house-hold. May he increase your wisdom and make you and your families prosperous. Kwame Nkrumah is dead and gone but you have spoken for him. I always say that for a man who makes a Will not for his family members but to the Party (CPP) he created is not an ordinary man. Once again I ask for God's Blessings on you and your family. May the name Kwame Botchey-Asamoah be remembered by all Ghanaians of goodwill."
So, as you can see it is not my fault thet you guys did not know waht Dr. Botwe-Asamoah was talking about!
Have a great weekend!
Thanks.
