You are much too ethnocentric and politically biased in all your writings and commentary. Just because you were prominent and well exposed does not make you the best. It is possible that you were the only option we had then, and thanks for representing Gold Coast/Ghana well and admirably, but like I insinuated, take a break. Your time came , and it is long gone!!!

PS: I don't think Mahama has found his footing to perform admirably, but President Kuffuor was no better, and Rawlings keep Ghana on ice from day one.

Ghana is freezed because of the some 26 wasted years under the hate-filled serial 'coupist' founded NDC but not because of the eight comparatively significant years of authentic governance of Kuffour. Our foolish brainless president, Mahama, who thinks putting up a multimillion party headquarters is more important than the provision of toilet facilities is the one to blame but not NPP. Idiot, are you blind to see that my Greater Accra is now looking more a junk yard than a city? Mahama told Ghanaians in the face that he has graduated from building toilets when every one knows our brothers in Chokor, Odokor, James Town etc ...shit at the free ranges along the beaches for lack of same. Is there any sense in building hospitals to accommodate cholera patients whose ailment come as a result of open defecation and poor sanitary environment? " Mahama has not found his footing to perform admirably" . Really! You savanna cow! Mahama was not cut for the presidency if you care to know. He was just chosen as a Vice President and finally became president by default. He became president because he was part of the diabolical plot that eventually sent prof Mills into his grave.

Cowards like you who won't even use your own names to make a comment are responsible for the arrogance and lack of concern that our elected officials show. You won't encourage people to complain so that things can improve. And yet when someone else does it, you tell him to chill.

My friend, if Kwame Nkrumah had chillaxed, we would still be in Gold Coast.
But what does that matter to you? You gert your kenkey and fish from somewhere and that is enough. Old fools like the "writer", on the other hand, will make themselves unpopular with the authorities, willingly, by asking them to serve the public with things that the writer can never need himself.

If CAMERON DUODU were somewhere else, his consistent championing of the interests of the people would have turned him into a cult figure by now. But here, you mock him!

All I can say is, God Save Ghana. For if a young person who has the same critical mind like Mr Duodu should read some of what is written here, he will fold his arms and say, ""Why should I bother? See how they reward courageous truth-telling."

It's pathetic to mystify the applause you received in Tashkent. The bitter truth for you, Cameron, is that it was all because of the world's admiration of the Osagyefo!

You've done your best to denigrate the great man while seeking at the same time to bask in his glory. Even 40 plus years after his death, you can't resist throwing mud at his reputation. Against all journalistic ethics you started an unfounded controversy over Nkrumah and Mandela. You had no shame spreading the false allegation - based on second-hand hearsay allegedly from what some unknown source heard from the head of of the Africa Bureau - that Nkrumah snubbed Mandela during Mandela's secret trip to Ghana in the 60s! You went ahead with this calumny notwithstanding the obvious and documented fact that Nkrumah was recovering from one the many assassination attempts on him and also that Mandela was traveling secretly without public announcements and prior arrangements. As if this was not enough, you would further tarnish Mrs Genoveva Kanu's reputation and Fathia Nkrumah's marriage record by shamelessly spreading the rumour that Genoveva, better known by her maiden name of Marais, was having an affair with Nkrumah. And yet you would seek to bask in Nkrumah's glory by declaring elsewhere that your late wife was friends with Fathia Nkrumah.

Ghanains need relief from BOTH NDC and NPP, and not your hypocritically pro-NPP opportunism. You never wrote a single criticism of NPP during the Kufour years when there was brazen in-you-face thievery of the public purse and assets.

It is just like you are slaughtering a cow for a party and your child is saying the chicken is cooked. The president was expecting the chiefs to talk about unemployment, roads, and electricity but not that cook chicken.

With the minister of finance's pronouncement about the ACCESS and SUPPLY of electricity. It is up to you to worry about what you expected him to say but not what he said. The minister was purely talking about the access of electricity at that juncture in his speech but if you think he should have talked about supply of electricity, well it is your own problem.
