The whole nation should embrace futuristics or futurology. We have to be future focused
Start with creating future images of Ghana;
requiring coming up with alternative Ghana, where we invite Ghanaians to unleash possible futures in the form of scenario writings;
Then we get into probable futures for the nation, using all kinds of techniques, such as Delphi technique, time series, and cross impact matrices, etc.
And finally the futurible group, made up every segment of the Ghanaian society spend time selecting the most preferable for the whole nation, thus envisaging Ghana's Development Plan. say for short, medium, and long range visions for Ghana.
See my forthcoming piece on Alternative Ghana.

Let's do first things first. Why would anyone put money in the hands of a kid who doesn't know the value of money or leave a meat bone in the care of a hungry dog? Before we embark on any new projects or programs that involve heavy financial input we must make sure there's transparency and accountability at all levels. They've been paid enough lip service.it's time to turn them into our newest sub culture. A thorough background check will compliment the new sub culture.
Nepotism and cronyism must be expunged from the system and made a punishable crime.
For nearly10 years our legislators have been playing cat and mouse with The Right to Information Bill. There's nothing like a perfect law so if they're waiting to sanctify it to perfection before making it a law in Ghana then they're simply telling us to forget all about it. If I'm wrong then it must not be held hostage by parliament any more but quickly passed into law,without any further delay. Furthermore,we must begin to appreciate and reward hard work and industry while we terminate the employment of lazy employees. Computerized technology and usage of the time clock ought to become the new norm in all workplaces. There's also the need to invest in security cameras to discourage crime at the work environment.
In all sincerity,it'd do us a world of good to realize that we can no longer afford to continue doing the same old things in the same old ways if we want to leave the disastrous past behind us. Another definition of insanity,they say, is doing the same old things in the same old ways and expecting new results.
