Yes I personally know of some micro finance companies at my backyard which have collapse and customers money are not refunded. These are Eden Micro Finance, Noble Dream Financial Services, Reagent Smart Finance which was just at the Mpasatia market to dupe these poor women.

In Ghana everyone wants to play a smart way on another to get him/herself rich. Shine your eyes fellow Ghanaians . If you really wanna stay save the lowest bank to save with, I suggest to you is the Rural Banks. As for the microfinance companies their names should tell you they are coming to kill you, for example Discern Microfinance, Sweet Deal Financial Services, Lion's Savings, Acquah and Acquah Savings, Mr Smart Finance, We Want Peace and many more. Dear fellow countrymen and women let's discern as one microfinance name suggest.

You are right Mr Stephen. I lost ghc25000 to a micro finance company in Sunyani. The owners have unti today not been traced. I blame Bank of Ghana

Looks like everybody is trying to cheat somebody in Ghana. The politicians are cheating us and denying our schools chalk, Lebanese merchants have shops in which they cheat us and check everything we buy as if all Ghanaians were thieves, students taking exams are trying to cheat by getting exam papers ahead of the exams, doctors are cheating by getting extra money for ordinary activities, policemen are cheating by getting bribes, susu people are running away with their collections, NGOs are set up by people who just want to get rich by exploiting the poverty of others and people set up micro-finance organisations, aimed at helping the poorest in society, and absconding with their monies if they are not charging cut-throat interest rates.

Everybody in Ghana is looking for someby to cheat and we still want our country to be developed!

It is serious in Ghana here. One friend of mine fell victim in this incident in the year 2012 .

They took almost GH¢2000.00 from him .After sometime the bank got collapsed and this guy has always being talking about it when ever we meet .

Another ice water seller was also victimize in Kumasi here in a town call Krapa around EJISU,they took this ladies money which sum up to GH¢150.00 .This ladies even came on radio to cry for help .Some micro Finance are performing but others are not.

It is better the government fine proper remedy to this situation.
