Im a free thinker and hence will approach this topic from a non religious point of view unlike the writer. Personally I think homosexuality is a mental sickness that is extremely difficult to cure. The writer was right when he said the legalization of momosexuality in the US has nothing to do with science or God, it was all for politics and political gain.
The homos have become very powerful in the Democratic party and in the media hence their too powerful to ignore in American politics. I think the idea of homosexuality from a scientific point of view goes against the scince of nature. No species would have survived till now if they had all turned to homosexuality or engaged in it in large numbers as we are doing now. The incidence of homosexuality is sadly growing around the world. The very act of a child saying i have 2 dads or 2 moms is too nauseating to ignore. Common sense tells us that nature never intended it this way.
The idea that they were born that way has no scientific basis or proof. Up till now no gay gene has been found. We do know for sure it can be a learned behavior since homosexuality is very prevalent among all prison inmates around the world. And most of these inmates only become gay after going to prison.
And the idea that they cant change is also not true for all homosexuals cos even in the US there are documented cases of people going from gay to straight and vice versa. The idea that it hurts no one is a lie cos childern are watching and learning from what we adults do. Most homosexuals have also admitted having trouble childhood mostly been abused by older folks leading to their sexual confusion later in life.
I dont think we as a people do throughly understand human sexuality to concretely say we are born this way or that. Many honest homosexuals would tell you that to them sex is very "fluid" meaning what we describe as sexual preference can also change from time to time.
The idea that what 2 people do in their bedrooms is non of opur business is true but immediately they decide to bring it to the public in the glare of kids it has now become our business.
THe idea that according to religion we have all sinned is also true. The only difference is that other sinners are not out there trying to justify their sin and celebrate the sin as a sinners pride day in public. If all sinners decide to behnave this way we wont last long on this planet as a human race.
My only question that i throw to every one is homosexuality like Autism and diabetes has gone up almost by 4000% from 1980 till now. What are we doing to ourselves that is leading to more of this dangerous cases? I wish we will devote more of our time to also figure out the causes of all these things afflicting us now. That might save a lot of future generations to come.
