  Base on numerous religions in the world, there is not a single road to heaven, Christians believe they will go to heaven through the teachings of Christ. Muslims think they can go there through Muhammad. Hindus and Buddist have different way. So, the question is which religion has the key to unlock the gate to heaven?
  
  My opinion on this is that people will go to that unknown place due to their good deeds and not what religion they belong to. God resides in a clean and contrite heart and people who have clean and contrite heart do good deeds and that will lead them to heaven.

  Interesting point, Kwobia, particularly the bit about the Golden Rule. Personally, I don't give a monkey whether there is heaven or not. It's the least of all my worries. But for others, it's a quintessential part of their lived experiences. I respect their right to such beliefs, but it shouldn't be the basis for social planning and development.

  It is indeed pathetic that Africans who are becoming literate for the first time are acquring these Europeand And Arab myths more and more. It is pity that their reading is so limited to the very books that spread the myths and they don't seem to have a clue about the books that debunk them.
  
  The fact that there is simply no heaven is lost on them. And there is not hell either. Cosmology and cosmogony have advanced far beyond the Weberian primitive substantive rationalisation evolved by ignorant men 1000s of years ago.
  
  Africans, wake up from your slumber and open your eyes to the scientific realities of the world.
