Yes, it is perfectly clear, there are some elements within the NPP working against Nana Akufo-Addo's leadership of the party. Yes, a 'camp' is waiting for Nana Akufo-Addo to fail/lose. However, the truth be said, there has been no improvement in Nana's leadership performance, and there doesn't seem any sign that there will be. As the party leader, Nana has failed to unite the party. As the party leader, it is Nana's leadership responsibility to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the NPP HQ, regardless of his perceived relationship with Kwabena Agyepong and Paul Afoko. So far, there is no party discipline, both in personnel and message.

If there's any element of truth in the speculation that Nana Akufo-Addo walked out of the meeting at ex-President Kufour's residence in the presence of the eminent members of the country's clergy, as claimed, then that is really disappointing. This will only increase the tension and mistrust within the party, and deepens the sense of crisis around his leadership of the NPP. What is so irreconcilable that Nana Akufo-Addo walked out of that meeting? The NPP cannot be having an internal fight leading up to the general election and effectively focus on strategy to win the 2016 General Election. Sorry, Nana is leading NPP to a defeat.

Well, with the possible "tit-for-tat" plotting within the party, should Nana lose 2016, then the NPP is expected to be in opposition for many years to come.
