Don't or can't you idiotic fools think about the current governance and the economical problems in facing "GhanaToday"?
For how long do you Marons want to think outside the box?

THIS, ACCORDING TO PHILLIP BAIDOO:
READ: "...It is clear that war was part of the human condition to the extent that a philosopher devoted his thought processes, energy and time to write a thesis on the subject...which to me is much more important to the wellbeing of humanity than a treatise on war. ...//...for any academic to associate wars with capitalism is as ignorant as a new born baby..."
THEN THIS FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF BAIDOO'S MOUTH, THE OTHER DAY:
READ: "...It is the statist, the communist, the Nazi and the fascist who resort to violence – war – because they cannot produce what they need. This is not a figment of my imagination..."
WE SAY: Well, it fits like a "figment", don't it?
So, we must conclude that the "...Statist, the communist, the Nazi and the fascist..." have been around a lot longer than 3,500 years, at the beginning of the world when the first war was fought.
You know, it was Baidoo who tells us Manna fell exactly 3,500 years ago, that it was the first and last time Manna would ever fall on the ground, on this earth!
How disjointed, illogical, and anti-time!
ITEM: The Feudal Lords, the Mercantilists, even Christopher Columbus when he set off on the seas and "discovered" America, were on capitalist missions.
It is all elementary!
By the way, is it science or experience that teaches that "...a new born baby...(is)...Ignorant..."?
Some true ignorance!
The other day, Phillip Kobina Baidoo was asking people to go see one of his favorite movies. We have another one for him. It is about "Capital" that is very dear to his British-Ghanaian heart:
ITEM: In all its essence, “World History” is about Capital, Religion, Wars, and Control, and the commingling of those forces! Not quite 4 weeks ago, the leadership of Japanese company Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd, was at the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles, USA. They were there to apologize to the United States for using about 500 US soldier-prisoners-of-war as forced labor during World War Two, in Japanese mines:
READ: “’…Only two living survivors could be located to accept the apology, and, only Mr Murphy was fit enough to make the trip to Los Angeles, local media reported…Mr Murphy told US media earlier that he spent a year at a copper mine near Hanawa, an experience he described as "a complete horror’…’It was slavery in every way: no food, no medicine, no clothing, no sanitation,’ he said, adding that it was all the more galling to know that Mitsubishi built fighter aircraft used against American forces…” (www.www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-33584704)
THE MOVIE: The Bridge on the River Kwai
The Bridge on the River Kwai:
In World War II, British prisoners arrive by train at a Japanese prison camp in Burma, (where there are already American prisoners). The commandant, Colonel Saito (Sessue Hayakawa), informs them that all prisoners, regardless of rank, are to work on the construction of a railway bridge over the River Kwai that will connect Bangkok and Rangoon.
As an asset for social, political, and economic development, the bridge is a capital project – supports the production of capital regardless of who will ultimately own it, and has military value as well.
This Black & White movie will be very familiar to many Ghanaians of the Nkrumah era, particularly soldiers and their families of that 1960s-era. For instance, it was frequently shown in the Michel Camp, Tema, movie theatre.
READ:
“…It is a 1957 World War II epic film directed by David Lean and starring William Holden, Jack Hawkins, Alec Guinness and Sessue Hayakawa. Based on the novel Le Pont de la Rivière Kwai (1952) by Pierre Boulle, the film is a work of fiction but borrows the construction of the Burma Railway in 1942–43 for its historical setting. The movie was filmed in Ceylon (now known as Sri Lanka). The bridge in the film was located near Kitulgala.
Carl Foreman was the initial screenwriter, but Lean replaced him with Michael Wilson. Both writers had to work in secret, as they were on the Hollywood blacklist. As a result, Boule (who did not even speak English) was credited and "won" the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay; many years later, Foreman and Wilson posthumously received the Academy Award.[3]
The film was widely praised, winning seven Academy Awards (including Best Picture) at the 30th Academy Awards; in 1997 this film was deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" and selected for preservation in the National Film Registry by the United States Library of Congress. It is widely considered to be one of the greatest films in history…” (www.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bridge_on_the_River_Kwai).
THE BIG QUESTION: When will sincere, actual apologies be forth-coming to Africans (Namibia, etc.)?

We all wait for the answer(s) from the appropriate quarters. Thanks again for the information on Mitsubitishi, the film (about River Kwai),etc., and let the capitalists come and tell us capitalism anathema to slavery! Capitalism has always been about wars, greed, slavery, imperialism, and colonialism and the like!
