In Ghana communities chieftaincy stools and local government posts are occupied by people lacking in foresight and wisdom; lack of development is brought on by lack of ideas and innovative thinking hence they sit around waiting on a national government that is lacking in ideas, foresight and innovative thinking worth a damn. Is there and has there ever been laws against local levies and local development without directives from the national government? If the Okyehene and others including Nana Akufo-Addo believe they have leadership skills and mandates from the grassroot they could have used it to put an end to the GMA strike which is bigger than the national government and the meaningless puckshots by the critics. People who dare to be statesmen should know the rules of the game; it's not about yapping but constructive alternative and conflict resolution skills. Who has it in Ghana anymore?
