  We read this essay several days ago on another portal. To the extent we know a little bit about Sunyani Secondary School, will make three (3) observations.
  
  1. Mr. Atiemo's record at Sunyani Secondary School was unblemished. Therefore, any corruption that occurred at Prempeh College while Mr. Atiemo was Headmaster at that school had absolutely no reflection on Sunyani Secondary School, or on Mr. Atiemo while he was the Headmaster at Sunyani Secondary School.
  
  2. Sunyani Secondary School was established through the Ghana Education Trust policy by Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and the CPP government, in 1961. As such this is one of the secondary schools and numerous public assets (remember VRA and Akosombo Dam?) that were funded with public funds. You know, those are some of the same funds the conveniently-forgetful Danquah-Busia-confederate cohorts tell us we must show them where they went.
  
  3. In keeping with Dr. Kwame Nkrumah Unitary agenda for Ghana, Ghana-centeredness as we say today, the motto of Sunyani Secondary School (SUSEC) is "ME MAN NTI, ENYE ME NTI" (On Account of my Country, Not Myself).
  
  We will now allow Attorney Dr. Samuel Adjei Sarfo to speak on this 3rd point:

This vision extended beyond Ghana’s borders to include the whole of Africa. What Nkrumah conceived of nationhood made philosophical sense because without knowledge and unity, no country can claim nationhood. If ignorance makes people show greater allegiances to tribes at the expense of the nation, then the survival of the nation is under serious threat. For a country to be a nation, her people will have to subsume ethnicity under the aegis of the national interest. The present conflicts amongst the tribes, though so far verbal, is a testimony that our country comprises nations within the state. In effect, we of this generation have repudiated the concept of nationhood with our ethnic animosity and undermined the very tenets under which the nation was founded..."   Compared to the number of students from other tribes Gas who gained admission to Prempeh College during the days of Mr T A Osae were few. Of that small number the majority were recruited into the sixth form from PRESEC while those who enrolled into Form One did so on merit through the Common Entrance Examination like everybody else. It is on record that the boys from Presec, Ga or otherwise, were extremely brilliant and, in many cases, on top of their class. The Ga boys who started from Form one did not fare any worse than their counterparts from other tribes. If Mr Osae of blessed memory was forced out of office by the prempeh College Alumni (which apparently did not comprise any Gas) on the grounds that he was admitting too many 'dumb' Ga boys into the school as Prof Okoampa would have us believe, then I can emphatically assert that the alumni had an ulterior motive other than this flimsy premise which is, in fact, absolutely false.

  Check with Opoku Ware alumni to get the full story. It is more than just taking money from students for school blazers.
  Also,I'm not sure about M'Agya Hoo's demise. Last time I checked, he was still alive in Cape Coast.
