  Do you call this garbage? The chair of the Peace Council to my mind was wrong in considering a call for a critical look and possible scrapping of a Voters register which had been known to be bloated even by the Supreme Court Judges as a recipe for war, to say the least, is unfortunate.

  Prof, you raise valid and cogent arguments in this piece and I agree with the thrust of your requests. However, when I saw "Tsikata" lumped with a murderous Rawlings, my defense mechanisms went into alert because of my extenuating relationship to Fui and Tsatsu. But then I recalled that there was also a Captain Tsikata whom I don't know and whose defense I cannot rise to. So kindly be specific when you brand "Tsikata" as a murderer.

  The fact that we can live twenty years under Rawlings shows we cannot call for any change in Ghana without the seating govt given its approval. Ghana/ Rawlings was forced by outside bodies to return to constitutional rule before he did that. So I do not believe the opposition can force a commission whose head was chosen by the govt. to open up the electoral register again.
