People who think they are entitled to rule Ghana so arrogant they wont organize to win elections instead relying on ethnic solidarity and bigotry to carry the day, forgetting Akans are neither stupid nor an electoral majority!! I wonder how much of the Akan anti Npp vote is due to a significant portion of Akans who are so disgusted by Akan jingoism they simply wont vote Npp!!! Even though Npp&Ndc are are in the same neocolonial camp, the Ndc's fecklessness makes them an easy target and highly vulnerable to electoral defeat but the Npp's arrogance and disdain for the electorate at large keeps them in opposition!! Their basic strategy is simple but stupid, we wont organize and present resonant political message instead we will stoke a sense of grievance among our core supporters with claims of ballot rigging, vilification of the EC and run to court and file frivolous lawsuit in vain attempts to overturn the verdict of the electorate!! Primary school politics, meanwhile Ghana is rotting. YAKAGBEMEI!!

  Why should we honor someone who was refused something that he thought he won but proven to have never been his, in the first place?
  
  This is the most ridiculous proposition yet from these Akufo Addo obsessed supporters. They cannot seem to spare the NPP any more embarrassment. What in the World is going on? Is that another way of pacifying Akufo Addo pre-emptively for the likely event that he bombs out of the Presidential Election in 2016?
  
  These folks must understand that the more they try to foist Akufo Addo on us as some ordained Messiah befitting a permanent national monument, the more majority of Ghanaians would reject him.
  
  This reminds me of the infamous failed ploy by Okoampa-Ahoofe, Jr. to have the NPP declare Akufo Addo the sole spokesperson of the Party leading to the 2012 NPP Presidential Primaries. That was a sneaky design to have Akufo Addo recognized as the only candidate the NPP had for the Presidential Primaries. There was no need to coerce folks to accept him as unopposed, if his supporters trusted his widespread popularity as capable of winning the slot for him. But the design was to deny any potential contestant, like Alan Cash, any chance, at all to thrown in their hat.
  
  Now, as the campaign to secure his win in 2016 Presidential Elections, again, these Akufo Addo supporters are searching all crevices for similar ploys to imprint his popularity on people's mind beyond whatever Policies he may be capable formulate to convince the Electorate.
  
  This Holiday is totally unnecessary and undeserving. We have more economic headaches that we need our working time to be productive in curing. We don't need anymore national Holidays.
  
  Long Live Ghana!!!
