Abena doesn't understand the nuances of debate and I don't blame you because the useless Okoampa the Akyem dog eater is your teacher. How democractic is the NPP, the party which can't tolerate divergence and its thugs are quick to kill its chairman with acid. This makes the NPP and acid party but not a democratic party; got it?

Okoampah-Ahuntan, why are you so shortsighted? The NDC was born out of a revolutionary circumstance, bringing together those who think alike---to rid Ghana of the filth that the so-called liberal democrats (including those thieving, lying, and murderous elements in the NPP) have heaped up on the landscape.
The NDC has survived all kinds of storms and still stands tall, overturning the Danquah-Busia political trash-can and the Nkrumahist front as Ghana's foremost political pillar. No amount of hogwash from detractors like you can undo it.
Whatever its internal dynamics are, the party still stands tall. The lesson to characters like you is that it will take more than useless effusions in cyberspace to cripple the NDC.
Do you know why Akufo-Addo and his team are finding it difficult to make inroads on the ground?
You need to visit Ghana to learn useful lessons in contemporary politics. Sitting down in your studio (one room) in the Bronx of New York and writing useless condemnatory opinion pieces about the NDC won't pave the way for the NPP and its ganja-head Akufo-Addo. Take it from me that you and others like Gabby Otchere Darko are why the NPP is losing traction.

I'm always happy to have the likes of Okoampa Ahootan and the British voter Okyere Darko the akyem dog eating duo around, especially during election time. They become NDC campaign managers, because the more the engage in the tribal tirades and communists' tactics, the more they alienate many Ghanaians from their party. Two big dummies and political neophytes, continue with your drivels and make the great NDC greater.

YOUR: "...The NDC has survived all kinds of storms and still stands tall, overturning the Danquah-Busia political trash-can and the Nkrumahist front as Ghana's foremost political pillar...".
WE ASK: Could you explain what "Nkrumahist front" means? Is there a distinction?
By "Nkrumahist front", are you referring to the CPP of today, or the CPP of yester-years, under Dr. Kwame Nkrumah? Or, are you saying they are both the same?
If it is the latter, CPP of yester-years under Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, are you saying you are involved in a struggle with all Nkrumah legacy defenders, "Nkrumahists", some of whom may not even be members or propagandists for today's CPP? If so, what does the NDC actually believe in?
Might the NDC be a neo-liberal front to protect the interests of foreign enterprises and controllers of Ghana?
Which way, Michael J.K. Bokor, Ph.D.?

What are democratic values and best practices and procedures that the NPP adheres to Dr. Okoampa-Ahoofe?
Is it the impunity with which the Kyebi faction of the party undermine others? Is it the flag-bearer of the party Nana Akufo-Addo knowingly approving unauthorized executive members to skim money from the national account into a slush fund unbeknownst to others? It could not be the fact that democratic slogans in Ghana by NPP's educated but ignorant elite class chose to spend an estimated US $50 million to US $10 million on Ghana@50 when hospitals in Ghana were ill-equipped to handle simple but dangerous outbreak of treatable diseases could it Dr. Kwame?
There is nothing wrong with your unprincipled cheering of NPP abuses but please do not package your crass, biased and ignorant assessments and conclusions as an intelligent product for consumption in Ghana. What may be acceptable in your neck of the woods in Kyebi enclaves is not fit for most Ghanaians.

This is a politically motivated question, albeit rhetoric, but I will hazard answer,
Yes we do have constitutional democracy with recognized limits on those who governs & allow the voice the people to be heard through free, fair and frequent elections.
The learned Doctor is forgetting that we have constitution that includes checks & balances, separation of powers, rule of law, due process, but we the people don't hold our governments accountable in the exercise of their powers.
We do have free press & several civil societies.
We do have constitutional democracy; fledgling at the moment, but if we succeed in nipping tribalism and corruption and mismanagement in the bud our democratic dispensation stands to bloom, inshallah,
