  On what basis did Allen Cash or Dr. Bawumia become the political standardized yardstick? In politics as in business there is something called work product or record. Yeah even in Ghana where empty party slogan and bribery trump wisdom and intellectual analysis or evaluation popularity never ruled the day; Nana Akufo-Addo would be president if it was the case.
  
  2020 elections must be won or lost on an Amminsah-Arthur-Mahama achievmeets or lack thereof and not on Show horses like Allen Cash or Dr. Bawumia. Dr. Bawumia has done a share of his empty and meaningless talking but never solved a problem in his stint at BoG. He has never made claim to a signature policy or practice in government that has stood the test of time. Ghana's educated and undereducated crowd eat the ramblings from classroom educated but unwise elite class because they equate classroom earned credentials to wisdom. There is nothing positive to point to as foundations for development and economic progress in Ghana brought on by Ghana's educated and political class since Ghana's independence and yet they have been in charge or in the majority in every government we've known.
  
  Let not folly consume us for we become a nation of fools if we continue to vote people into office based on empty slogans, party or tribal affiliations. Ghana deserve better from its voting public.

  If you don't know the man very well, please don't run him down for he is the only credible and honest NDC personality left in the beleaguered party. Spio Garbrah doesn't come close at all as an alternative. Mind you, I am not a party member, but I know both well to put forward this claim. You better tread cautiously.
