These are very serious allegations which deserve immediate investigation. The charges are specific and it should be easy to check each one. However, the audit should be widened to include the purchase of the highly expensive Lexus luxury car the VC drives: how much did it cost the taxpayer? Who authorized the purchase of such a vehicle? Is the VC intending to take it with him into retirement? Is this ethical?

The writer made other allegations which are easily verifiable and you decide to sidestep all of them, dwell on the two mobile phones and make this damning assertion. In any-case is it the duty of taxpayers to buy phones for these two, and if yes, what criteria goes into the choosing of which phone is appropriate? So people can see their friends use certain phones and they decide they want one too and then we pay for it? Be serious. Why are you taking this personal instead of looking at this for what it is? Did you mention iphone? I believe you are being specific because you know exactly what you are talking about. You must be either the VC or the Registrar.

On the issue of Wi fi services, we students at the Mampong campus of the University of Education, Winneba face the same problem. I'm currently in level 300 and can say that the internet service there has not been good since we step foot on premises of that campus.
We will only plead with the appropriate authorities to look into the matter if not we reserve our comments for judgement day.

AOO , THANK THE ALMIGHTY GOD THIS ISSUE HAS COME UP...GOD BLESS THE writer....I completed uew 2014 from the art department north campus and we have paid monies for the four years we have been there for materials for our practicals, and I can swear that we have to buy our own materials for four good years after paying for materials..after spending huge monies for practicals, some stupid sycophant lecturers will still keep some of our works and present them to the v.c. as presents.The S.r.c. should also be investigated including the Deans who are signitories..God will surely punish them ..fools..armed robbers..when we request for materials they will tell u one nonsense about DEMA MOTHERS..prourement. am sure uew possess the richest cars among the universities in Ghana. ...They have also been reviewing our grades. I mean slashing our grades by making several committees to seat and discuss on it before it goes into our porters.
