  This whole thing is about superiority and inferiority. When you consider what you have as supreme and important to you you defend it from enemies. On the other hand if you feel inferior about what you have you try to attack in order to get what you want. The later is the cause of all the problems we are having on this earth. Your article is not much educative as you try to incite people to use violent means by attacking to get what they want. What I can infer from your article,then armed robbery must be legalized as those who rob really attack and they are not supposed to appreciate and defend the little given to them by God. What kind of article is this?

  Mr. Dag Heward Mills your article not only fail the smell test but fail even a laughing test. Your assertion on America is premised on some facts that are neither borne out by the truth or by intrinsic moral norms. Is it your contention and nothing but the truth that missionaries brought light and the hope of living to those they lord over? And are you thus implying that being a slave is preferred over the liberation of those in bondage? Every church that has seen an upswing in membership abide by man-made principles that are in line with moral justification of slavery and nothing more.
  
  The Muslim religion, the Baptist denominations, the Catholic church and even atheist do simply preserve the powers of a man over a woman and or pretentious freedom from community norms. Why is it a moral right for a Muslim man to marry many wives with the man retaining all the freedoms human yearn and live but expect wives to seek a male companion to get out of the house, seek work and earn a living and when needing to get out of the house seek a male figure or companion including that of a child? What morality and or safety and security is there for boys to provide mothers and is it not the moral bankrupt men that assault women on community streets? How are these any different from the Baptists who expect women to know their place in the home and in society while men play God? Why would Muslims travel to learn and or work in non-Muslim nations and while they enjoy the women of those nations hold their women to standards the very men cannot pass? Are these not the rules of slave masters? So if liberated women are seen as the root cause of some social disorder then would that trend of thought not apply to freed and emancipated slaves?
  
  America chooses to practice and adhere to freedoms for all as enumerated in their constitution and never once put constraint on how to practice and or adhere to some church moral dogma. What leaders of organized churches are exploiting are their own flawed dictatorial wishes and not some higher moral principles. In the Christian Bible or the Muslim Koran sins are not based on some relative comparison but on realities. Thou shall not kill or steal or lie or covert they neighbors wife and all did not make exemptions; choosing to rail against laws that give man-made rights to gays, bisexuals and others does not negate any of the sins of our respective higher moral codes.
  
  Would the world not absolutely be heaven on earth if the only sins of men and women are those we assign and or ascribe to homosexuals? Go figure it out if it is simply the freedom of humans under man-made laws that ail every society or is it the pretentious greed and unprincipled life styles that has brought wrath on man?
