The moral tone of a nation is set by its laws inscribed in its constitution. It just so happen that the very people who ratify and accept a constitution as the foundation to life in a nation happens to be the very people who write laws. The courts do not write laws but interpret them, accurately or falsely, by looking to context, history or issues that promulgated such article(s) of law.

It just so happen that entrapment, like beauty, is in the eyes of the one whose ass is being gored. In a court of law, lawyers for the state and defense employ entrapment techniques to catch witnesses in a lie in the presence of a judge or arbiter. Is it entrapment when an official ask for money or service in return for a request for form or government services from a customer? Are the morals of the customer not being coerced? Is it entrapment when a police or security agent is offered service or money to let go of someone who is perceived to have violated an article of law? If the art of entrapment is deemed coercive or immoral attempts at undermining societal moral norms then there could not that much moral principles at play in such a community or nation.

Anas did a painstaking and tedious job that is of value to society but the morality of an action is not determined by how much pain was endured in its execution. A good end can be achieved through dubious means. It is not always that those good ends will justify the dubious means.

If Anas actively sought and persuaded the judges to commit crimes which they would otherwise not have committed, then something can be said about such a method of gathering evidence.

But I guess Anas had good advice and was on the right side of the law. He may have already identified those judges as having previously taken bribes. And he went after them. I am sure he also had proper legal advice as to how to proceed with the evidence.

But I agree that the issue as to the morality of his methods can be discussed. When is the work of the agent provocateur beyond moral compass? Did Anas actively induce, persuade, convince, put pressure on (entrap) the judges to commit a crime? What does the law really say about such methods?

I hope the judges will be given a fair trial, the type they denied those who they cheated out of justice. It is only then that Anas, the rest of us who are happy with his findings, and those cheated of justice, will occupy the moral high ground.
